I have just waded through Sunday Times Business & Sunday Mail Financial Mail and am amazed (but not really surprised) to see no mention of this financial debacle.
Why is no one in the media interested, especially as ING has publically stated that several hundreds of savers cannot access their money:eek:?

Actually there is a line & half inside 2nd page of Money (Sunday Times)- doesn't get more than a passing mention in a little bit about Icesavers en route to their compensation - they obviously dont think it warrants reporting.
And it mentions later a 6% fix available for 1,2 or 3 years with Northern Rock... that hasn't been available for weeks. I thought you could rely on the Times to be ahead of the game.... but this is dire for accuracy. Last week they reported Martin Clunes had dropped the price of his house by £500k!!! After a complaint they issued a correction this week - £50k. Not far out...:eek:

BTW still keeping a watching eye on this thread & rooting for the rest who are waiting to be united with their funds - this week should see the list well down if not cleared.... fffingies crossed.

Here's hoping that this time next week there will be no further need for this thread. Prior to me getting my cash, I found Sat and Sun particularly difficult because the thread was quieter than during weekdays and there was no chance of money landing into accounts. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon will see the beginning of the end for everyone here!
To those still waiting, keep mailing and phoning.

i have been trying to withdraw money from my account, but the website keeps saying please confirm transaction but there is nowhere that says this on the page is this a problem with the site ?

In the top left hand corner of your Accounts screen, you should see:

Accounts
Transactions
User Settings
Transfer
Pay In Details
Logout

Just click on ‘Transfer’ and fill in the required boxes.

Click 'Continue' at the bottom of the page.

Some people seem to have a Secure messages option but I have never seen it on my Account screen.
