Although my money was refunded to my KE account yesterday there is no sign of being transferred to my linked account (as promised by their website message). Is anyone else in the same position? Is it safe to try to set up a new transfer?
Thanks.0 -
I'm in the same position as you kdm. I'm just about to ring KE to ask what's happening.0

Hi,
OK, I'm getting a little worried now. I put in the chaps transfer on the 13th October and have heard nothing other than the standard email stating it's with the clearing service.
Is there anything other than praying that I need to be doing ?
help....0 -

Just come off the phone with KE. If your original payment funds have reappeared in your KE account, they have not finished sorting out the original transaction, so I would not advise initiating another transfer.
Unfortunately, they couldn't give me any concrete answers as to what has happened and when it may be resolved. KE apologised and said it was in the hands of ING. I am now back to the investigation scenario and we'll let you know within 48 hours.
Lets hope that Martin can bring some further pressure to bear fruit.0 -

I've just rung KE and apparently, they have no idea why the money hasn't been transferred and guess what - I'm being put on a spreadsheet again to go to the administrators!!! I presume it's the same spreadsheet I was on before - i.e. the No-action one.
As ever, not willing to give any reference numbers or allow me to speak to anyone with any real information. Suggested I call ING instead if I wasn't satisfied with their reply.
Have decided to just to try to set up a CHAPS withdrawal for the full amount in the hope of getting my money out from under their noses before they realise - fingers crossed that it works!0 -
Well I've just checked my old pal Barclays for the 25,000,000th time and nothing in there apart from a scary overdraft.
It has taken me three days to write a report which normally takes a day, so my time management and output are rubbish.
I'll phone again and see what fairy tales I'm told today.
Thanks guys, once againCHAPS 7/10 £20K landed in Barclays 7/11:j0 -

You MUST phone them, and let them know that you exist.
I notice that more new posters are coming on asking similar questions.
PLEASE register on here, and let Fury have your details. The more data that we have available the better we can hassle for the return of everyone's money.
Good luck to all the poor people out there who don't deserve to have been treated this way by a bunch of faceless ING bankers.
By the way, where are all our MPs?0 -
ING are an utter disgrace!
INGSpokesperson, any comment?

I would chat to someone at Barclays and tell them the situation, take a printout of your KE account, and see if they can help you out for a few days. I don’t see why you should pay unnecessary charges, when it’s no fault of your own. Tell them you’ll be looking for somewhere to save your money, when it comes.0
