I have just checked (19:55) for the umpteenth time today and our money (£30,500 CHAPS'd on 9th October) still hasn't arrived in our linked account (HSBC).

I immediately phoned KE and was surprised to find that their customer service dept was still open.

The helpful lady I spoke to could not understand why our money has not appeared because they have had a cast iron guarantee from ING that, apart from 'the 35', all money has now left ING. She promised to take up our case with ING first thing in the morning. She sounded genuinely angry that ING have failed yet again, so I have every confidence KE will do everything in their power to get it sorted.
  • My money was recieved today- thanks for all the support on this forum. I have not been terribly active but all the advice has like many others kept me sane- i think ! Good luck to the ones left.

Great news metooo :T :j Although I would have to question your assumption that you may have kept sane! Just about everyone frequenting this thread over the past 3 weeks have been absolutely insane on occasion :p

    Enjoy

I'd never even heard of MSE until Tuesday 7th Oct 08 when I Googled "Kaupthing-Edge forum"

I for one, and I’m sure there will be plenty more, that will be bookmarking MSE and watching Mr M.L on the telly

I got my money yesterday and thanks to the support on this forum, I managed to be kept updated with events and to keep my sanity

Special thanks go to Martin Lewis (et-al), Luke and nomorekids and many, many more!

Now big support for the final few that are still waiting for tomorrow

    Bring it on!

My sentiments exactly - but you have put it so much better than I could have done Zaphod.

I too had never heard of mse, but it has enabled me to share the agonies and ecstasies with people who totally understood where I was coming from and the anxiety that the situation had, (and for some this sadly continues), engendered. Thankyou one and all, I'm not signing out...I will be here with support until the last man posts ''it's arrived!!''
    I have money!!!!:j :j :j :j 31st October 3.30pm. Organised by nice lady from E & Y, very, very grateful.

    £20 debit for CHAPS received 27th - dated 7th on A/C

I think you nee to contact Martin, as a special case and get your transfer prioritised.

In the meantime here’s a big hug. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug::grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
