I've decided that I shall put everyone who hasn't got their money by tomorrow lunchtime (thefury would you pm me with the list) into the hat. And on the day the last person gets their money - send champagne to three on the list. Then there's a few celebrating (hope you take this in the spirit its meant!)
Chins up everyone - fingers crossed it is getting closer.
Martin
I'd never even heard of MSE until Tuesday 7th Oct 08 when I Googled "Kaupthing-Edge forum"
I for one, and I’m sure there will be plenty more, that will be bookmarking MSE and watching Mr M.L on the telly
I got my money yesterday and thanks to the support on this forum, I managed to be kept updated with events and to keep my sanity
Special thanks go to Martin Lewis (et-al), Luke and nomorekids and many, many more!
Now big support for the final few that are still waiting for tomorrow
Bring it on!0 -

Still could buy my own.. not the same tho'..0 -
I've been keeping an eye on this thread with a keen interest... I set up a BACS payment on 8th October to leave my account on 3rd November!
A substantial sum was involved and I was worried that the payment would be held up in some way. Anyway to my relief, the payment turned up in my linked account this afternoon sometime. It appears that BACS payments are not being used currently, as I would not have expected to see the payment until tomorrow.
Hope this helps put minds at rest!0 -

But ING is still a rubbish operation - don't risk money with ING!!

It has been super to have this thread running and the support of Martin et al.
:money: :j :j
Just what do Brown/darlINg and ING think they are playing at??? Surely ING can not believe that any people reading this thread will ever trust ING with funds. ING had a great opportunity to sell its expertise by making the KE integration go smoothly - but ING has done f***ING nothing to make this process run smoothly. Abysmal communications - totally terrible everythING.
Dutch Courage??? LMAO - I will NEVER bank with ING or any foreign guaranteed bank (I did not trust Icesave's Icelandic gurantee).
Best of luck to those poor souls lookING for xfers from last month. :ASTILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.0 -
