New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

It's very disappointing that we have arrived at KE's latest headline of COB Tuesday and the list is still at 28. KE talk about 35 problem cases who they have contacted for more information, but nobody on this list has identified themselves as being in this situation. My guess is that this list represents no more than a 5% sample of those impacted suggesting that in reality there are probably a couple of hundred still unresolved cases.

Grrrr it drags on doesn't it... we were stuggling to get any news from ING today - it seems they're working case by case now, fingers crossed they'll all drip through quickly.

I've decided that I shall put everyone who hasn't got their money by tomorrow lunchtime (thefury would you pm me with the list) into the hat. And on the day the last person gets their money - send champagne to three on the list. Then there's a few celebrating (hope you take this in the spirit its meant!)

Chins up everyone - fingers crossed it is getting closer.

Thanks to all the support on this site, it was great just knowing that others were in the same boat at, at least I can pay the tax man now. Thanks also to theFury for keeping the list - guess I'll buy my own bottle of champagne

I'm crossing my fingers for those of you with payments still to come....and will keep checking until all the money is in.

I'd be hysterical too! This really is too bad. It's all very well being told 'it's coming' but it's not good for the nerves. I know how close I was to dementia last week...so I can empathise with you. better luck for tomorrow.
