I rang them when no funds appeared in my a/c by COB, which in the case of my bank is 4.30pm. I was told that (a) I was not one of the "difficult" 35 and (b) that my money was definitely in transit and will therefore show in my a/c tomorrow. The girl I spoke with seemed completely disinterested in my plight. My CHAPS payment was requested 4 weeks ago today!

Well I've tried reciting a mantra, turning round three times, finding two magpies to look at, crossing fingers and toes, and logging in to my friend Barclays blindfolded...but no - it's not to be.

How on earth this fiasco is supposed to give anyone confidence in ING, or the brainpower of Brown and DarlING, even a god would not know! :eek: :eek: :eek:

I'm ashamed to have to admit that the 2 x £20k xfers made on 29 Oct arrived today 4 Nov.... actually took an extra day due to 'administrators' but hey, just a day late is wonderful. :A

The bulk of my savings came through on the 20th Oct, as you can see from my signature.

I initiated a BACS transfer over the weekend, to send the £20 CHAPS refund plus final interest credited on 1 Nov, to my linked destination account. The transaction appeared on the KE account yesterday 3 Nov and has appeared in my linked account today 4 Nov as a CHAPS. So I am completely clear of KE and ING forever.

Hope this shows that the system is working and I am puzzled as to why some people still have not received their money. I can’t see any reason for them not treating every case individually now. Keep pestering them. :mad:

I suggest you ring them again and get them to check the spreadsheet again - remember they are still there to 8 pm . There is just no logic or sense to who gets paid when - just keep hassling them - and dont give up !!!

The update on the website states! unless you are one of 35 who will be contacted, the money will! be in destination accounts on Monday or Tuesday by COB. It is now Tuesday.. Mine was paid by a Chaps transfer.

The update also states that if you have not received by COB you should ring them on 08451 313234
