New Kaupthing CHAPS/BACS Transfers discussion - Friday 24th October

  • Like some others when I phoned KE on Friday I was promised I'd get paid in 48 hours - . 40K originally to be transferred by BACS 7 Oct am. I have received no phone call or e-mail or other communication from them since then or in the 3 weeks. When I complained tonight they had again broken all their promises I was told I would be contacted some time tomorrow but no commitment to paying me or telling me when I would get the money. Have any others had no contact at all after 48 working hours?

Ok so ‘Close of Business’ isn’t 20:00, maybe 21:00 ?

ING Spokesperson, any comments me old mucker ?

It appears that the "small number" of us is too small for ING Spokesperson to care about anymore.

Funny how they all appear when people are getting their money but nowhere to be seen when not!
  • Another day of crushed expectations I honestly thought after mine came thro the floodgates would open, any news of the people who posted that KE would ring them at 8.00pm with reasons why theirs had been held up ?? Will be here tomorrow giving my upmost support lols.
  • Well as my bank told me this morning that there was nothing on the BACs Q showing for today or for tomorrow, and seeing the lack of action reflected by this board, I really wasn't going to bother checking....but couldn't resist.

Guess what?????? Nah, only kidding. Not a sausage. Or even a rollmop herring.

    Congrats to Ippy though.

P.S. And of course, no phone call either now that my 24-48 hours is up.

I.m sorry for everyone missing their money and know what you are going through - just to get this clear in my mind - are the missing payments from ordinary accounts or term accounts? I think term accounts might take longer. Just interested as I am an Icelandic investor and thank god I got my KE back but still ICE to go. Wishing you all then best and still here supporting you.

I'm 'instant access' too! When - is another thing altogether!

Try emailing the above in force, perhaps if they get masses of enquiries they will investigate.
