It's still not there, £10800 by BACS requested 6th Oct. Got a message saying "someone will contact me within 48 hours". So, 24 hrs gone already!.

My three brain cells are trying to put a handle on this. It appears that the days of automatic transfers are over and you MUST phone ING and get them to chase your individual case and then keep the pressure up.

It’s outrageous, having to chase your own savings, that should have been kept safe and secure but we are in uncharted waters and this may be the only solution.

Congratulations to the lucky few and let’s hope this is a prelude to more happy stories. As with many others, I am with you all to the end.

Just phoned for the first time and was told all the things that are being posted on here. I mentioned Nat West and the young man said RBS are the clearing bank. NWest are owned by them.
  • It's interesting in a bleak way to see the numbers on Hometune's list growing, even tho some members have receieved their money today. I guess they are migrating from other forums and the word is spreading that MSE is the place to be. For those out there in the 'lost world' will they know about the magic spreadsheet, or be waiting and waiting for something to happen?

  • Surely ING will have lost so many customers through this whole debacle. I certainly for one won't be investing with them even if their interest rates are good - what a total shambles.

WARRIOR dont think many who are waiting will touch ING with a bargepole, they have pulled their fixed term rates on new ftb, and expect their easy access terms on KE to diminish any moment
There are similar terms out there at the moment, run like hell from ING/KE after this.

If we take the 500 people waiting as told by KE yesterday and the 3 MSE'ers paid today from the list then presume still about 480 people waiting. Amazing that it took a spreadsheet to tell KE that money wasn't being cleared!
