    Problems with the clearing bank what bank?? mine was first direct, and what about all the banks that have accepted payments.

    Congratulations for all those who have finally got back their money today

    No such luck for me

    No email
    No phone call
    No money

    My 48 hrs is already up as i phoned KE on Friday at 2.30 pm

    Not a dicky bird Robbo....can't work out why some of us have had emails (not me) and /or phone calls (not me)....wy some have got money (not me). On my last call guy at the other end mentioned NatWest as clearing bank.....but also said it was the few remaining KE hierarchy that were sanctioning transfers and that they were a 'bit behind'. Yet another tale? Wonder if they are on a bonus for who can come up with the most implausible story??
    I have money!!!!:j :j :j :j 31st October 3.30pm. Organised by nice lady from E & Y, very, very grateful.

    £20 debit for CHAPS received 27th - dated 7th on A/C

    CHAPS 8th received 20th into HSBC A/C
    BACS on the 17th and 20th received 22nd into HSBC A/C
    CHAPS fee refunded 29/10
    I can survive any crisis - I have kids!!
  • So we can shed some light as to whether a pattern is developing. Did you?

    1) Ring the magic number 08451313233
    2) were told you would be contacted whithin 48 hours
    3) were you contacted by phone or e-mail before you received your cash.

    It would be helpfull if others who have had their money back, could furnish this information.



    hi mrarnald I rung ke they took my details and like IPPY said it would be in my account by Wednesday, if it wasnt to ring again.

    I havent read back through todays posts

    But looking at hometunes list I see only 4 payments today is that true?

    I rang Kaupthing Edge after we had the update that the 08451 31 32 34 was being set up to take our details etc etc.
    But when I rang, the guy I spoke to didn't know anything about the update, so I then rang KE on 01159836331 spoke to Carl told him that I wanted details of where my money had gone, he logged my call and told me that my concerns would be investigated and that I would receive a call back by the end of the day. I told him I wasn't prepared to wait any longer than I already had and told him he had 2 hours before I would ring again, this I continually done, requesting Carl, but not getting to speak to him..... hmmmm
    Late that same day I received a call to say that the administrators were now aware of my case and would be trying to find out where my cash was.
    I received a phone call on Monday afternoon from Anne Marie Asquith saying she had now been given information that my money had been released by the administrators and it would be sent over to my linked account via CHAPS and would be in my linked account by close of business on the 28th October, and to give my bank a call after 11.30am to see if there was a pending payment. I phoned my bank at 11.30am and they said they couldn't see anything there for me. I then rang the 08451313234 KE number and spoke to Ellen, I asked to speak to Ms Asquith, I was told she wasn't at work today, so I asked to speak to her manager, I was put through to Andrea Asquith who confirmed that I definitely would receive the cash by the end of today.

    I hope this helps....
    I did receive the email which went out today AFTER I had received my cash!!
