Ed to add at top that I've just seen your post Snowy. Really thinking of you. I'm so sorry.

Been busy at work but have enjoyed defrosting a home cooked meal when I come in.
Have also gone back to flylady (ish) ways and that has helped to make sure the house work etc doesn't pile up. Went out for a few things tonight and was almost tempted to buy cleaning stuff but thought of my lovely old Fairy bottle with Stardrops, vinegar and water so that saved some money.
Couldn'#t believe that a tin of tomatoes was over £1 in Rainbow. Crazy price (didn't buy!!! - was just having a look about for inspiration for the next cook-up).
Think I'll plant some potatoes and other veg next year. I've enjoyed picking the lettuce leaves from the kitchen windowsill.
Off now - take care all

    Hello everyone

I hope everyone is well today. DD2 was sick at school so I have had to leave work and get her home. There were other children with the same thing, so I suspect a bug is making the rounds here.

To everyone in dieting clubs, I wish I could join something to put weight on. I know that sentence will make me unpopular, but it's the same problem as losing weight, except everyone feels free to tell you you look too thin. They tell me to eat more - I do eat!!

As proof of the above, tea was chicken stew and HM brownies :D

Snowy - I hope you can find the help you need for Dylan

    Snowy

I am sorry to hear things are so difficult for Dylan and hope you find some advice or help.

    Hello to Claw back :hello:

Managed to find a nice warm winter jacket for DD(23) today while we were out so pleased about that.

The oil lamp I had my eye on in the charity shop has gone an I could not find a 32 cm shallow frying pan to use with the Remoska so a bit disappointed.

Might make slow cooker lentil soup tomorrow with a home made loaf and see if DH will drive me to Lidl to stock up a bit as running low on things like long life milk etc.

    Hugs to everybody

  • Ohhh me too, I love lists - I love the whole crossing them off thing... sometimes I make one job into several small ones just so I can cross more things off my list!! :rotfl:

I love stationery. Oh I LOVE stationery! Paper and envelopes and notepads and spiral bound pads and A4 folders and labels.... drool2.gif Ok, I better stop here! *composes herself* Anyway to answer your question, I print out my recipes from here and put them in a lovely A4 binder with dividers for different ingredients and a list (wooohoooo) at the front. Plus I number all the pages of course... :p :rotfl:

Oh dear, I think I ought to have a lie down now, I am WAY too excited!:rotfl: :rotfl:

    hello all

I'm way behind with the news I'm afraid - computer went wrong in a dark dramatic beepy way - ex oh took it to w*rk where someone clever took all the bits out, gave them a good blow to get rid of all the dust - shame shame - and put it all back together again. Big hugs all round and I promise to be back on the OS wagon tomorrow ..... or the day after :)

Good evening everyone (or should it be good night?)

    *hugs* to Snowy

Well, its been a busy day here. Back at work on monday, so needed to take advantage of the last of the holiday week. This was achieved by much clearing out - if we haven't looked at it or used it recently, it's getting put out :D Tomorrow will go the same way I'm sure. Thankfully I was organised and double-cooked yesterday, so lunch today was leftover mince pie from last nights tea, and tonights tea was a turkey dinner, where I had also cooked the turkey last night :T I doubt the organised fit will last :rotfl: I've been finding some crafty bits and pieces when going through my craft boxes that I had forgotten I had, so I would like to make something - just not sure what. Maybe it's time to start another blanket as I finished the most recent one last weekend :) I've been running the freezer down as well, so if I get the chance I might get it defrosted tomorrow. We'll see how time goes :o

*hugs* to all, take or leave as you please...
