Ah, i understand what you mean for the shortfall of 600, what Ive done it make that SOA for now, though i dont intend on paying mort or SL so should just allow for rent i guess.

OH was advised a few days ago he cant claim ANYTHING because I earn too much would you believe! Check out https://www.entitledto.com . Also go to the CAB and get advice from them. The DWP advised us to stop paying our mortgage and that 700 what i earn was enough for a family of 5! Anyway thats another story!

Benefits are made up of child tax credit and working tax credit yes.

The £10 entertainment was intended for the kids, this will be allowed wont it? Don't put it under entertainment. Put £5 per week per child down under childrens activities.

Rylynn, can you tell me what problems could arise, its the house and SL part Im struggling to get my head round. If you have a deficit that great could mean your BR would be refused. Have you read my reply to your SOA?

Oh and we do have a car but will certainly loose that, so I havent accounted for any of that in the SOA, I dont drive anyway and work local....or rather, I did!!!
Why will you certainly loose it? Can you give us some more details please? If you are going to loose it put something in the travel section.

Sorry Pink-lint missed your earlier post, yes Im on maternity leave, does this make a difference?

At the moment you are on maternity leave so are on a reduced wage, when you go back you will have an increased wage.

Meant to ask earlier why you felt you were going to lose your job.

They cannaot get rid of you while on maternity leave! and you may not lose the car, as you will need it for work, or someone to take you to work, whose name is the car in? and are you both going BR or just you. Does your OR EDIT OH have debts are they in joint names or any of them in joint names.

What will your wage increase to when you go back to work, as scenario could be you go back to work and hubby stays at home maybe.

you dont loose your job going BR , only solicitors and something else (cant remember what)
    but you will be fine.

and if you have to tell them , tell them when you go back after maternity leave
  • I work at a solicitors, for a pension company, we are regulated by the FSA so more than likely I will.
My pay wont increase when I return as work are paying me my full pay instead of the basic pay. So that is and always has been my full wage.
The car is in OH name and we are both going BR all SL and mortgage are in joint names.

OKAY on that wage you are not a solicitor are you, what is your job? I work in finance, ie a finance dept, but I am only a lowly adminstrator and no one is going to be getting rid of me! Do you belong to a union? Do you actually HANDLE money.. I think you may find out they cannot simply get rid of you.

Okay on this shortfall, we need to cut your spending down.. and that will mean some hard times for you Im afraid but better than living through sheer hell.

What would rented cost you? approx? You can then ditch all the secured loans and mortgage off this SOA.

Okay on car if you add that in this SOA it makes it even worse than it is now... can you get to work, and when do you go back to work?

What are hubbies prospects of getting ANY job at all?

Right some words from me, cut the phone bill down ie the mobile, and I mean actually do so, dont use the bloody thing. I know this sounds really harsh but with such a large shortfall you could be refused BR.. however you could be granted one.

Take off everything we have said is not allowed please.. and then stick it in again so we can see what it is then. I am sure you are worried sick, but tomorrow you need a more realistic approach with the CCCS or they may say you should not go BR.

Right groceries, maybe take off the 100 school dinners give them packed lunch how many in school??

  • LOL Im no solicitor, Im an administrator but I do have access to a bank account were I am able to switch cash from account to account.

I dont need a car, in the event I keep my job I can walk, OH does need car, car is worth around 5K we owe 7K on it. Chances of a job are slim but he does look all day everyday. Works in construcion so its a little grim at the moment.
So on the SOA I need to loose a bit? I could loose the haircuts, entertainment, holiday and emergency.
If OH gets job will all this have to be re-done with the OR?
Im still concerned about the house and the bankruptcy being declined.
