Simple solution, buy a few shares in Tesco, then you can't be banned from your own property by one of your own employees. However, it's likely that the manager will be too thick to know the law, so just carry your share certificate on every visit and refuse to leave if asked to do so but tell the manager he's welcome to call the police if he wants (the results will be fun).

Your lucky they didn't take your clubcard rights away

Are Tesco now a supreme court operating above the law or something :rotfl:

(Before you spout the inevitable "they can do whatevva they want coz it says so in da turms and condishunns innit" - no they can't take your points away once awarded - been there, done that, served the summons, got my points back... NEXT!)

you say you never took the !!!! with the coupon use- but surely paying for 60% of the shop (as a previous poster calculated) is taking the p a bit... they probably wouldn't have noticed if it was for a £15 shop or so.

You would probably save more money using the clubcard and points than using vouchers...

It works the same as most loyalty cards, you swipe/scan it with your shop and get points per pound plus bonus points. but tesco also let you exchange your points to deals worth 4x as much as coupon face value.

So if you buy a few Tesco shares Phil you own the whole Tesco estate and employ everyone?

    What like you are?
  • I think some of the post on here are quite harsh, poster was only looking for some advice!!

I use coupons in Tesco and Asda (until they stop it) every week. I also use the same coupons every week (1 of each as their guided policy states) I've been doing this for approx 4 months and I have never had an issue.

I do not copy coupons that come from couponnet but I use multiples of Mitchum, Ryvita, Castello etc.

Yes I've been very lucky with my local as I seem to be the only 1 who uses coupons without purchasing the product!!

I hope the poster does get an explanation as to why this has happened as I believe they should. It's a bit harsh if Tesco do class it as coupon abuse, just explain!!

Be nice that's what this forum is all about.

Actually you need around 250 within Tesco PLC to get shareholder rights.

I wouldn't worry about it, I'd just take my money elsewhere!
