Got my student payments the other week, and have been desperately trying to save and be a good student but went to boots today and couldn't resist getting a few bits

I wanted the estee lauder GWP and the S&G GWP and to use the 750pts coupon a friend gave me so I did this:

x1 EL tender lip balm £11
x1 EL take it away make up remover wipes £17
x1 EL GWP
x1 S&G the fab pore 15 min facial peel £5.00
x1 S&G endless glove £4.50
x1 S&G heel genius £5.00
x1 S&G self activating facial exfoliator £7.99
x1 S&G GWP

Total: £50.49
Points: 200

Then used: 750pts wyb EL, Lancome, or Clinique (one to be skincare), 250pts wys £30 acm, 350pts wys £40 mailing voucher, 450pts wys £50 mailing voucher, and double points coupon - they ALL worked :eek: :eek:

So...

Total spend: £50.49
Total Points: 2200

Best of all it was things I actually wanted!!! I know you are all thinking I should have done it at a xmas evening to get an extra 1000pts but I couldn't make it plus I don't think I would have been allowed all the coupons

I am really pleased :)

The GWP is on a £15 spend but in polls case it seems to have recognised the original price and not the reduced one. So presumably you could just get the body butter and clean on me and still get the GWP as till would see 1500 points and then deduct a 1\3 leaving 1000 points to redeem? Does that make sense lol x

Thanks to everyone for helping out on the search for the Soap & Glory pts offer. I managed to find it today after scouring the store and then giving up and going to the tills. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

While waiting to pay I found the display (Next to the tills) I am posting a piccy to help those who want to take advantage of the offer. Sorry I forgot to look when it ends. I was just so happy to find it.

• Body Butter reduced from 1000 to 666 (Devils number :eek: )
• The Scrub reduced from 650 to 433
• Clean on me reduced from 500 to 333

These are ONLY reduced when you pay by pts. There is nothing on the display to indicate that the GWP is available, but it went through no problems. In fact I got 2 lots as it was such a good offer.

Hi Polls, you are an absolute Doll! LOL. Did it say how long this offer was on for? Also, did the SA scan the GWP first or the items first and then the GWP? Moi is going to get 2 x the whole lot as above on Monday. Cheers.

Local store can be a bit funny with lots of points vouchers And think they would have been too eagle eyed for my liking - I get all flustered too easily but I couldn't go anyways so got em today and paid at EL counter, which normally has scary looking SAs but the one on there today was soooooooooo lovely, and actually asked for if I had a double points coupon :eek: I do regret not doing it when they have 1000pts on £50 spend but something is better than nothing and sometimes its not worth the hassle of being embarrassed or refused



ETA: I don't know if it worked for some people, but SA scanned S&G GWP first today and it beeped, so I don't think it would go through with any S&G spend iykwim

ETA2: Also if people are trying to use their 750pts wyb EL, Lancome, or Clinique, I think the make up remover in a bottle for £15 or the make up remover wipes £17 are the cheapest skincare items it works on
