  • Hi all, had quite a good shop in boots today, managed to get the davidoff cool wave for 5.50, a couple of ruby & millie mirrors for £1 each, lots of reduced mens fcuk items and king of shaves, also on 3-4-2 !!

Just to let you all know, something to look out for, i was looking at the ruby & millie make up brushes and spotted a a pack of r&m false eyelashes, i think it was called i-lash ?? Anyway, price on the ticket was 3.25 :j It wasn't one of the reduced shelf labels either, was just a normal price ticket. So i picked up one of these, took it to the till and asked SA if i could use pinkie on it. She said, yes, don't see why not as all r&m is included in the voucher  She scanned it, came up on till as £13.00  !! Told her it was marked 3.25 so off she went to check, came back and said the price is wrong on the label and it is still 13.00. So i said i would leave it.
Just letting you all know, don't know if they will be marked this price in every store. If they are, some sa's might override it ?? Just something to look out for !!!

Also, big well done to Anic. My boyfriend has just started an 8 month tour in Iraq and i know everyone out there will be so grateful for your efforts this xmas !!!:T

    Wow that's a good shop :T

Please let me know what the estee lauder wipes are like as I used to use the clinique ones before they were discontinued and I really liked them.
    TIA.

Thank you :) I actually used one tonight to take my make up off, and they are lovely - really do take of your make up easily, and leave your skin so soft and moisturised, not dry and tight like some :j

    Hi

    This thing here

If you are over 60 you will also get 10% off Boots products (Proof of age may required for this.)

I have a boots card, but my mum doesn't. Could she go in and use my card, and get 10% off the boots products. How will they check her age please?

    Thanks

They cut her leg off and count the rings!!. ;);)

Seriously though, I got it without proof of age. (No comments please)

I suppose they use common sense really. I have had an advantage card since they came out (10 years ago?) and my original d.o.b. was on that, so it was automatic really.

Your mum will only get the 10% off on her own card (If she's over 60)

However if you used her card when you were shopping for her, you may have to explain (if challenged) that it's your mums. IYKWIM

  • I have acquired some PC baby expert vouchers but was disappointed to see that the buy one get one free had ended. They expire at the end of Oct and I wondered if anyone had successfully used vouchers that were out of date on the SS tills? I just thought I might hang on to them for when they next come on offer and give it a go.....

Was this in Clayton Square or Speke Polls?

It was in CS(Near the bag bank of tills) Totally awkward place to put it.:confused: I had to leave the queue to get the stuff and then rejoin it.

  • Evening everyone,

I have the following vouchers up for swaps. Hoping to get some pinkies in return. This is what I've got:

    Boots PC mailings
Save £1 on pampers change mats
Save £1 WYB any pampers nappies x 2
    Save £2 on pampers nappies
100 points WYB boots branded pregnancy vouchers x 2
Save 1/3 WYB any boots expert baby range
    3 free 15 x 10 prints
save 10% when you spend £15 on mini mode x 2
save 20% WYB philips avent isis breast pump
500 points when you spend £15 on baby products x 2
save 20% WYB any baby walker x 2
100 points WYB Tixylix baby syrup

Oh and 750 points WYB any 2 clinique/lancome/EL/ and clarins

I'm trying to get a few xmas presents sorted for friends but doing it on a shoe string budget and cant really justify spending £5 in Boots on stuff I dont need.

    Cheers

I bought 2 r&m mirrors with a duplo set. The 342 offer took off the duplo, leaving the 2 r&m mirrors to pay for. Then used pinkie and ts, this was on a ss till. hth
