Hi Skibster,
I am hoping you can answer a question I asked earlier please. If I use the the £4 or £5 PC Olay voucher with the free wipes/toner etc voucher do I actually have to buy the wipes etc., or could Iget something else in its place?
Also do you know if the £4 & £5 voucher work together?
Many thanks IA
Yes, you have to get the wipes, it won't take the money off your total without the wipes. I know you can use the £4 voucher with this, but I don't know about doubling up with the £5 voucher. There is a fair chance it would work, the question is, would it take the money off the rest of your total or would it just scan the coupon without taking £5 off and you've wasted it? And it's a bit iffier to get an SA to try both the money off vouchers. If you can get it to work on a SS till it's worth a go.0 -
I don't understand-Boots is so expensive to start with. Are you really getting things cheap,it seems complicated.
Just keep reading the thread, and you'll see how it works and whether it seems worth all the trouble to you. You do get some things really, really cheap, though you also often end up buying other things to get the coupons you need or points back. You have to weigh it all out. You can also get tipped off to some deals here that are really great clearance deals, etc. Bootsing can be a bit complicated and iffy as some of it depends on what the SA will allow, though some of it is just "this item is on clearance" or "this items rings up cheaper than it's supposed to". It's really up to you to decide if it's worth it or not.0 -
Hi Bootsy people
I love to save money and am about to add Bootsing to my list of moneysaving jobs! But I have 2 questions and I apologise for being thick and it is probably somewhere on here but I can't find the answer - what is a pinky??????
I got one of those £5 off vouchers today for no7 is there anything under £5? I will get a mag tomorrow didn't have my card today is there anything in there I can use with the other voucher? Opps that's 3 questions.
Thanks for your help:)0 -

If you use a self service till you get the same voucher, but in the form of a till spit that comes out along with your receipt. Both the pinky and the till spit have different bar codes so can be potentially used together.
Keep following this thread hun and you'll soon see what all the fuss is about boots. Most of us shop here because we get things so cheap :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

There is currently a mens GWP when you spend £25 or more on any Clinique Skin Supplies for Men ....... not very well advertised btw!!;)
It's a washbag with:
SSFM Face Wash 15ml
SSFM Scuffing Lotion 15ml
SSFM M-Lotion / M-Gel Lotion 15ml
There are also cards on the counter with trial samples attached of the SSFM Age Defense Hydrator!0 -

Has anyone opened the Ruby & Millie compact mirror yet? Just wondering (hoping) if there is a points voucher inside? I know some of the gift sets had vouchers in last year!

It leaves you with credit as the £4 off voucher starts '99' and comes up BRAND COUPON. Therefore..spend £1 more to get a pinky/till spit
So how would that work if I buy 1 Olay hand cream & add 2 x clarifying lotions, which are normally £4.49 each but on offer at 2 4 £6.00, use the £4, £5 & free wipes etc vouchers?

I lucked out in Boots today - tried the R&M mirror with a couple of other small (£6 each) items from of the three for two Chrimbo gifts- and the SA scanned both vouchers, but neither the pinky or the till spit came off the total:eek:. No SS tills at the store I was in today.
So I left it and walked away.
I did find a very small clearance shelf and bought a Winnie the Pooh reins & harness for DGS for £1.50 - Paid with points.0 -
Went bootsing today....missed out on a ts by 1p!!!! Still to nervous trying out some of the stuff!!! Had 1 pinkie and 1 ts to use on an R&M mirror and kabuki brush also bought a bottle of coke (had planned at home to get a meal deal - nerves got the better of me and forgot! also had 3 x ds with me!!!) was also trying out ss tills for the first time so didn't want to risk the 342 as well as pinkie and ts. Paid 4.99 for the 3 items  so no ts.
second shop: palm massager for 4.99 with pinkie
second batch in second shop: UG hair stuff 2 for 6.00.
Then I find out points on AC have almost doubled without spend (from last .com order? again?).
Just checked email as complained about SA not letting me use ACM voucher for free eye dazzle in another branch to where it was printed and they want to TALK to me  Can't ring them now can I?!!!
Sorry bout the long post.0
