I bow to the master
Got my tiles laid though - the guillotine turned out to be the solution. As long as no-one notices that I've cut one of the tiles in the wrong direction...
Which pillock thought it would be a good idea to put the directional arrows under the backing paper.s/e0 -
iv had a dodgy couple of days as i had a car accident on thursday tea time, i wasnt really hurt as i wasnt going fast enough, but someone pulled out of a side junction straight into my passenger side and im realising now that its really jolted me and i have a few extra aches and pains. The police that attended to drag my useless car off the road asked me 'do you have any pain anywhere' should i have listed it??? :rotfl: at the time i didnt think i had any pains i dont usually have but the next day i could hardly move as all my muscles were so much stiffer than usual and i have a pain in my right shoulder i think where the seat belt stopped me? They took my lovely golf away and i had a rental car delivered yesterday
its a brand new 2 litre injection peugeot 308!! i only needed something to tootle to the shops and to work which is 5 minutes away
I hope you're feeling better soon.s/e0 -

somebody_else wrote: »Hi Blondie, welcome to the thread. Come on in, pull up a seat and feel free to join in.
Now you're here, you'll never leave. And any life you thought you had will disappear as all you'll find yourself doing will be checking in on here for the latest goss...and to keep a tally count of how many times I can mention my wedding of course
S/e seems to have expertly answered your query, Blondie, so I don't need to think about it... phewf!
Ta Pcl & Cwta:)
Magenta, wondered where you'd been hiding, hope you're ok.
Yellowrock: http://www.helpforibs.com/ and read about bee pollen on http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/bee.htm - it's supposed to be ace for you and replenishes all the nutrients etc that you've been missing. My brother and sister now swear by it. It can be a little expenny, but they get it in royal jelly/honey - something like that(!) - and spread it on toast/rice cakes for brekkie.Yellowrock wrote:I notice in a recent post, pain under the rib area was mentioned- again I am a subscriber to that!! I always go and get checked out by gp when I get a new pain/symptom, as this forum as taught me - never presume it is your fms. However, the majority of the time it is:(Careful_with_that_axe wrote:I would love to learn to know or something to do whilst I watch TV. I do like cross-stitch, but find it wearing on the neck with all the leaning over and squinting :rolleyes:Careful_with_that_axe wrote:By the way - someone has been stealing my spoons. I can find nary a teaspoon in the house and had to add suger and stir my tea with the end of a fork. I'll probably find I've put them somewhere bizarre. Or does a dishwasher eat spoons the way a washing machine eats socks? And that you've lost your spoons, I've lost my forks and OH's lost his knives! Between us we might have a full set eh? I sure have plenty of teaspoons though... which not being a brew person (I know, shock horror:cool:) I never use! (Apart from to savour the flavour of Ben&Jerry's, obviously
)
I've suddenly realised I've bought my first pair of semi-smart pull-on trousers??!!
What has happened to my life?
I, however, look like either a chav or a child, with my comfy soft trackies and fleeces/hoodiesSomebody_else wrote:Oi! I resemble that remark!
Aksherly, I tend to run out of steam/flake out about 9.00 pm so I'm usually in bed by about 9.30.:rotfl:
Somebody_else wrote:You could take up knitting - some of the simpler patterns can be done without too much attention being paid. Oh for the days when I used to be able to read, knit and watch TV all at the same time.Raeh wrote:hello everyone  i see no one missed me thenwell i missed you lot
i see a troll wandered in as i went out?
And the less said about him the better.
Hope you're recovering well from your wedding and it's not too much of a ball ache. And I'm glad you got a courtesy/hire car. I've not managed that and it's causing some major hassle.Raeh wrote:oh and before i go... did someone mention a wedding?? is someone getting married? it was such a slight mention im not sure if i got it wrong?BZ fab photos thank you, the little flower you made are excellent, they must have been very fiddly.
Ta very much. They were indeed very fiddly. Yes I forgot to ask about that... on my mahoosive post(!) Glad you got it sorted... and don't worry -unless someone like me comes round, no one'll ever notice. I'm just one of those annoying super observant people that picks up on the little things though."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
