    Hi guys

I am, indeed, back at MIL2B...she's making sausage and mash...how could I refuse?? ;)

OH is currently, for some reason, up in the attic looking for other things to take to the new house...like we need MORE stuff to try and sort through?!

I'm absolutely pooped today. Did far too much yesterday, despite BIL telling me to sit down all the time! You know as soon as you do someone shouts "Where's this going?!" and you have to get up and see what it is they're referring to!

The new house is great, thanks for asking...someone!... however, there is leaking under the sink (so can't wash anything in there, and can't turn the dishwasher on either), burglar alarm doesn't work, heating doesn't work properly, plugs in the sinks don't work...*sigh* Ah well, Rome wasn't built in a day... ;)

    Magenta I'll PM you.

Everyone else, I hope you're feeling better soon! It's been snowing here today, but not sticking yet...

Me too! We love the house, but just need all the things that should be right done now...so that it's properly liveable.

At the moment I can't really cook, wash up, wash clothes, get warm, or use the sinks... :o

(Umm...lodger? Did we discuss this...?)

  • ;) We don't need to discuss it; I just decided *grin*

Don't forget to discuss how much of a reduction on the rent the Agent should give you whilst there are faults.

    Hi Unity,
I too have a terrible 'fear' of the cold, I can't function.
Sounds like we are experiencing the same things at the moment.....Feeling that I can't go on like this for much longer, I am wondering why I battled so much against the cancer because life is just not worth living....

I have been to the pain clinic this week and the doctor has prescribed Amy trip. for me even though I explained the horrible experience I had when I tried it the first time. He took no notice. (so I won't be taking that. He also said that it would help me to sleep, I explained that I have M.E and I certainely don't need anything to help me to sleep!!)

He also prescribed capsules Pregablin (one a day for one month and then 2 a day) After reading the leaflet with the tabs. and all the 'rare' side effects I am too frightened to take it. Those 'rare' side effects are what I already suffer from on a daily basis.
But the pain is so bad. Could those of you who take this Pregablin (Lyrica) let me know how it effects you please:cry:

I've pm'd you Magenta - so sorry you are feeling down and hope I haven't triggered it, I've never had to battle cancer and those that have especially on this thread are heroines as far as I am concerned :T.

Thanks to everyone for the support - I'm just feeling a bit useless at present and part of me thinks I need a good kick up the bum - the other part knows it wouldn't help :o. I feel pretty much the way I did when I was stuck in the wheelchair and I don't want to go back to that again. I think you will all know what I mean if I say that this doesn't feel like 'tiredness' - that's just too mild a word - this is sheer unadulterated bone numbing exhaustion - like the stage babies get to where they are past themselves with tiredness but they still sob.

    Tomorrow is another day ;).
Some people hear voices, some see invisible people. Others have no imagination whatsoever :D
