BZ, go on, do your worst. Be a moody mardy mare at me. I'm a big girl. I can take it. :D

Wow! Just had a 2 minute hailstorm here. Size of birds eggs. Exaggerate? Moi?! :D:p
I'm not quite so moody mardy now. And of course I would never accuse you of such a thing Axe ;)

BZ, why don't you get yourself a portable CD player? They're a lot beter than they used to be. Or failing that, ask Santa for an Ipod?
I already have an ipod ta, I just don't like to fiddle about hiding it from thieving gets every time I get out the car or mauling with the playlists or whatever everytime I get in or want a change. If I can get a second hand proper CD player it should only cost about £20 (that's what's in my head anyway!).

iv got really sore lips , i look as if i have been sucking a red lollypop :rotfl: but i just thought it was the cold weather this week?? maybe not? lets just blame everything on the pregabalin at the mo ;)
have a good night out bz, dont do anything we wouldnt do ;)
I think it's a combo tbh. I think I lick my lips more when I'm dehydrated, which in combo with the mix of central heating and cold outside, would make them chap more. So our blame game is safe Raeh ;)... we'll just ignore S/e for the moment :D

S/e - thanks for having a look around for me. I'm guessing that furtle is about the same as fettle...? I'm thinking that ebay might be my best bet...unless I could maybe get them direct from scrap yards? What do you think my chances are?
I'm sure T/S will have the answer appear to him in a dream ;)

Cwta - I'm sure you don't really want us to send you the postcards...surely? I hope the pizza was tasty. You'll be pleased to hear that I gave cooking a miss today. MIL2B is still mithering me to do Thai Green Curry again...so might have to submit tomorrow. She has been asking for months, to be fair. Hope you manage to settle soon.

Unity - Welcome back! :D You missed the dwarf guessing game. And me cooking for nearly a week running! :dance:Some chat about our pets (with pics). And yes I did indeed buy a car! Wooooo!! I am now the proud owner of a Scenic (higher seating posish to get in and out easier and automatic to reduce the leg/arm mess about and associated pains...woooo!)...it is, however in desperate need of a cd player - cassettes are so last decade darhling ;) Good luck with the MRI tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be fine. Try thinking back to the oldest cartoon you ever watched (like old Micky Mouse in black and white) and make up a story for it, trying to picture it all as you think about it...might help?
Oh and Happy Birthday!! :bdaycake:Have a slice on me! :D

i know that type - far too well in fact. One of OH's "friends" reckoned she'd had, and recovered from ME (along with lots of other things) - bearing in mind she's only 21 and the onset and decline/disappearance of symptoms (from her stories) are very quick. She then went on to call me lazy, woskshy and a faker.
Funnily enough I've blocked her now.

I cant stand people like this, can I smack this one as everyone else is queuing up to smack raehs neighbour

By the way Im going to leave the multi quoting for now :rotfl:

Fair enough, but you mastered the art of single quotes very quickly. :)

:rotfl: Unity, I think BZ might have taken your comment on being Methusela's Sister seriously if she thinks you're old enuff to remember the original Mickey Mouse cartoons!. Shall I slap her in the nicest way possible? Ah, the youth of today

My wanting to wish you Happy B'day disappeared in the fog yesterday, so
   HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Are you sharing your cake? ;):D

BZ you might want to bear in mind when getting a CD player for car whether you will be able to hook it up to the cables for the wand on the steering wheel. It would be awful to get something and then be disappointed that you can't use the control.
I don't get chapped lips, so it must be the Pegywotsit. :D
I also know what you mean about forgetting to take tabs in the mornings. I take the bulk of mine at night, so when something is added to the mix that has to be taken first thing, it gets forgotten more often than not.

It's really cold and sleety here so only ventured out to Hossie and back. There's a fatstock show in town tomorrow, but unlike all the other prime meat cows, I will be staying at home :p:D

I have had 7 telephone calls on my to do list for the last coupld of months and due to a concerted effort, I've got all but two done. One I haven't done is telephoning the cleaner, so I must get onto that tomorrow.

Raeh Hope hyou're not suffering too much from your ds being away. I bet he's having a whale of a time. Has he rung you yet?

suep I always think of your name as Soup! I have given up on mutli-quoting too. I read the instructions and they just don't make sense to my poor addled brain.

Really don't feel like doing anything much today. Complete lack of motivation, but I know I'll relax better once I get the place staighter, so I'll haul my bulk off the sofa in a moment and get to it.

Just a little more surfing first ..... :D

  • p.s. We talked about local sayings. Do any of you have regional accents? I have mental pictures of most of you and this would add to them.

I've moved around so much in my life I don't have an accent at all. I waas born in County Durham, lived in Holland from year 1 to 7 and then most areas of SE and now SW, so didn't get a chance to acquire anything notable.

Ooh, I dunno. I lived in Sarfend for many years, then moved to the SW. How would a combination of the two sound to you?

As for mental images, that is a picture of you on your avatar, isn't it? ;)

Oh Raeh. Sod had got his hooks into you at the moment, hasn't he? Never mind, look on the bright side - one more accident and you could get a whole new car out of it.

  • ;) Oh, of course it's my pic s/e. I am sultry and shaded and come with skin of various shades of grey :D
Actually I did look a lot like that; 20 years ago

Bloody ell raeh, who've you upset recently! See if you can screw any extras out of them to make up for the inconwenience (I only ever hear that in my head in Allo Allo style).
No, BZ, not those type of extras. Get yer mind out of the gutter.
Glad your son's having a good time.

Unity, I'm afraid I'm the sucker for Barrowman, although, having seen Simon on I'm a Celebrity, I may switch allegience. I'm a fickle female. Simon's chest is to die for. I keep going up to the TV and trying to peer down to see if I can. Ooooooh, did I say that out loud? :o:p
