Can I just check how the bonus applies - is it on the annual balance or the average balance?
Are there any penalties for withdrawals?0 -
No penalties for withdrawals ... this is just a "normal" easy access account.
Not sure what you mean about the bonus. The extra 1.5% is (was) on top of their normal rate of interest (3.6%). However, I believe the 1.5% is no longer available for new customers and so the rate is now set at 3.6% (gross).Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Found out that is daily interest paid annually0

I've just realised that the cut off for this statement was the last sunday in January and I (nor my husband) have had our points..... and we both had our accounts opened well before the cut off!!!:mad:If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

My account was opened in December last year and I've only just had my points credited. Tesco do say they'll be applied in February, so a little time to go yet ...Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
But the cut off for this statement was in January and I was sur it said we would have the points for the Feb statementMy account was opened in December last year and I've only just had my points credited. Tesco do say they'll be applied in February, so a little time to go yet ...
. Surely, it is now too late for them to add to this statement as they will already be prosessed??? If you think nobody cares whether you're alive or dead, try missing a couple of mortgage payments.

I'd give them a ring ... probably an oversight which they'll put right for you. If you're due your points, don't see how they can get out of giving them to you.
Let us know how you get on ...Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -

If you opened yours before they withdrew the bonus in early January, 4%.0 -
Card readers should work from other banks, but Barclays use a different reader to Tescos, who use the same as NatWest and Nationwide.
Withdrawals can be made using the telephone service to any account you want if you haven't received all 3 bits yet.0
