MrsB wrote:Apparantly if you log into Flyladies Yahoo groups there's a UK group you can join which gives you the emails in GMT rather than American time. Havent done it personally so not sure of the details, but saw a reference to it on her site recently. Hope it helps.
I tend to just ignore the time stamps anyway cos I'm working all day, just use them as a reminder to think about duing whatever it is when I get in.

Not fully fledged here but do follow some of her tips.

Me too but I'm still surrounded with mess and chaos and wish I could get a hit squad in!!! :rotfl:Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

Well I've just signed up to the UK flylady section so hopefully I'll start receiving emails at the right time.
Day 2 - Sink shining off courseand bathed and dressed about an hour ago!!!
I find the emails quite quaint (sp?) at present and if they start arriving at a better time then I think they will be very helpful for me and will help motivate me.Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!:starmod: Emergency Fund Savings - #148 - £10/£1000 1% :starmod::xmastree:#083 SPC6 £63 - SPC7 £90 - SPC8 £63 - SPC9 £54 - SPC10 £26 - SPC12 £70 :xmastree:0 -

Squeaky,
The Yahoo groups address that sends all the Flylady reminders out at the right time is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FLYingInUnitedKingdom/
There are also lots of chat groups, by region (some are quite quiet), a general chat one, one for flying with children, flying while dieting etc etc. Lots of support etc.
I ditched the reminders because they didn't work for me. I think the system works if you take the bits that work for you from it. For me the whole timer thing would irritate me, but I find it impossible to take my shoes off during the day, otherwise I stop "doing" stuff.

Have had a look at this site tonight cos I really feel I need help in getting myself organised with the whole housework malarky! But things haven't got off to a good start. Shine your sink every day? Last thing at night? And not let another dirty dish near it after that?
Does anyone actually do this?! Or should I just ignore this and use the site for other ideas cos it does seem pretty good after all....
Just thought it was bad that I was resisting at the first hurdle! :rotfl:0 -
i dont bother with kitchen sink but i like to keep the bathroom sinks dry cant stand seeing them all splattered with water but thats just me0
