Morning everyone, just a quick update today. I reached £20 on My Voice on Friday, so I've sent for an M&S voucher as my mum works there and will give me the cash for it. I've also put £25 in my ISA this morning and will put another £15 in there when my mum gives me some money I'm owed later today. I haven't been able to put much in this week as I need to keep some cash in my current account for my car insurance & MOT which are both due mid Jan. I'm starting to think that with a bit of hard work I might actually be able to fill my ISA...possibly anyway, I've still got quite a bit of free cash to come. I'm also almost up to withdrawal level on three scratchcards again. Anyway, I think that's it for now

Morning everyone, just another very quick update so I can keep on top of things... I got another £4 from Pinecone a couple of days ago, and I've put another £23 into my ISA this morning. That means that I'm over the half way point towards filling it. I'm really hoping I get my tax money back this financial year because I want to put it in my ISA. At the moment it looks like Boots are probably going to tax me til I leave despite me giving them my P45, so that will be about £420 tax to claim back. £420 is almost a quarter of what I need to fill the ISA so it would go a long way. I guess we'll see....I'm due £26 something from Homepage friends somewhere between today and the end of december, the £40 from onepoll is still *almost* reached, and I'll get £20 for the M&S vouchers from my mum when they arrive so that's almost another £100 for the ISA

Just another quick update. I've added £110 to my ISA today (£100 + £10 my sister gave me for an Arcadia voucher), I couldn't remember what my car insurance cost me last year, but I looked and it was £222 plus £12 legal cover. I was keeping the money back in my current account to pay for that, but when I get paid on Friday I'll now have enough to cover my new insurance and some to live on. I've got a quote of £220 inc legal cover with endsleigh, so I'm going to go for that. It's a bit irritating that I have another years experience/no claims but it is costing basically the same as last year. I'm assuming I won't be able to get it really cheap til I'm 25 and I have another 2 renewals before then
. *Anyway* Quidco are offering £45 cashback with Endsleigh, so I'm going to try and clear my cookies, then get a quote for the day before going through Quidco & see if I get the cashback as I went through a comparison site first. I doubt it will work, but for £45 it's worth trying.
I sold three items on Etsy, though only one has been paid for so far. At the moment I have £17 in paypal. I'm working til 10.15 today which will probably be awful as noone even knows Boots is open that late.
On the free money front, I'm very almost able to withdraw on two scratchcards (damn 10p's). I've also found £4 in my ciao surveys account. That money is from way back in June or July, and basically I'd given up hope on it ever getting credited so I withdrew the £7 I had last month, so now I need to do another survey for them to reach the £5 withdrawal threshold. Irritating. Oh, and Quidco are making two payments this month so I'm going to get a whole £4 in a few days lol. I'm also waiting for some IPSOS points to be credited, then I'll get another £10 Boots voucher.

More good news this morning... I logged into my email to find that I've been paid for the two things I'd sold on etsy yesterday, and another item that I sold last night. I wasn't actually expecting to get paid for the two that hadn't been paid for as with etsy if the buyer doesn't pay straight away they tend not to at all. I had £50.50 in paypal, so I've withdrawn that and added it to my ISA. I almost have £2500 which is really exciting (I know, I'm a bit sad).
I'm also up to £10 on one of my scratchcards so I can withdraw tomorrow. I've done a £1 survey on ciao this morning, so when that is credited I'll withdraw the £5, and I've done a £1.50 survey on valued opinions which takes me up to £8.50. I'd have lots more if I did all of the surveys, but recently they've been mounting up as I haven't had the time to do them. I'm banking £10 woth of 20p's later today, so that will also go into my ISA later. Where I can I think I'm going to get amazon vouchers. I want a TV for my room and a new computer, and with the amount of surveys I do, combined with dooyoo once I finish work and start that again, I'm sure I can get one of them free, I just need to decide which. I need about £300-50 which I don't think will take any longer than a year to accumulate. I've just seen a 32" Samsung one for £300, I wish I could buy it!

Hey nikki, what sort of jewellery do you make? did you have to go to uni or college to learn how to make jewellery and is it made by the materials you can buy from places like hobbycraft or is it much more than that? im looking into things to do for the making money from one £10 note, not sure i could handle making jewellery though. any info much appriciated.Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

Hi Stacy, I make two types of jewellery, kitsch stuff, and bits that use vintage/vintage look parts. I'm self taught (it really isn't that hard), but if you're looking to buy bits to make money you should never buy anything from hobbycraft as they are really expensive. I tend to buy most of my findings from either etsy or ebay (.co.uk & .com), or a good place for small orders is beadsunlimited.com . If you want to know anything else let me know...
On the money front I've withdrawn £10 from a scratchcard & got £4 from quidco. That has gone in my ISA along with £10 from some banked 20p's, £10 from my sister for the Arcadia voucher, £10 as I got paid today, and £10 from etsy money.
I also put £50 in there last night as someone spent £60 on three bracelets, I still have to make two of them so that will be me kept busy for today. I'm working til 10.15 again, hopefully it won't be too bad like last time.
Oh, and I can get another voucher from consumer pulse, but I'm not sure which one to go for.

Afternoon everyone, just another update. I withdrew £10 from a scratchcard and added it to my ISA along with the £20 my mum gave me for the M&S vouchers. I won £5 on a scartchcard yesterday so I'm now getting close to withdrawal on three of them. I also bought some beads today, but they are an investment of sorts into me getting my jewellery thing up and running properly. I wanted to buy some ferrero rocher earlier, but I had a think and decided to focus on the fact that they will make me fat, unhealthy and £2 poorer, so I've put the money I've saved into my ISA instead. I'm working til 10.15 again tomorrow, it really doesn't feel like christmas at all.
I still haven't decided which consumer pulse voucher I want yet. I wish they did Amazon & Boots ones, they seem to do everything else.

I thought I should probably pop in to do a quick update. On the 24th I ordered a £10 Amazon voucher from IPSOS, and withdrew £10 from a scratchcard which I've put into my ISA.
I've decided I want a free TV, so I'm saving up Amazon vouchers with a target of £350. If I converted all of my survey money/vouchers into Amazon vouchers I'm sure I'd be able to get a TV within three or four months, but as I put the cash into my ISA I'm just going to save Amazon vouchers as & when I get them. As I've had my last day at work now I'm aiming to write two or three reviews on dooyoo each day which should really bolster my vouchers. Now IPSOS do Amazon vouchers I can collect from them, Valued Opinions, Auto Insight, Lightspeed, My Voice, Toluna & maybe Ipoints. I'm aiming to have the £350 by October, any sooner will be a bonus.
Also, now I'm done working I know that I should have a bit over £300 to claim back in tax. I'm going to put what I can in my ISA, but I might need a bit to live on as I want to avoid being on JSA if I can. The thought of it just depresses me. I'm almost at withdrawal on two scratchcards now too. I have to confess to buying some stuff in the sales, but some of it will save me money in the long run, and now I'm not in town every day for work my spending will virtually be nothing. Anyway, that's it for now I think.

Thanks lilmiss, I'm averaging about £10 a month per scratchcard, so that's another £150 if I'm lucky. All I can really say at the moment is that I'll def get below the £1000 mark which I guess is good considering what I had when I finished uni. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470
