I'd been waiting a month for my voucher too Gemma, Toluna are awful at sending out stuff on time, last time I was waiting two months.
I'm too scared to spend them CL! If they are still there right before christmas I *might* (it's still showing £72 today), but I have visions of HMV coming after me for £60 which I don't have to give them at the moment. I use my sisters student discount card online so I could get another 10% out of it too...
I'm still ill today, but have added £2.40 to my ISA & £6.68 interest was added yesterday so about £20 has gone in in the last few days which I'm pleased with.
I have to buy my friend a birthday present today as I'm meeting her on Thursday, I could use my Boots voucher but I want to wait until my other one arrives so I can buy christmas presents on 3 for 2. My boyfriends bosses wedding is a bit later but he has decided to just go to the reception as we are both ill, it's fair enough as we won't really know anyone at the ceremony.

Morning everyone,
I've added another £2 to my ISA, one for yesterday and one for today. I ended up spending far too much on Saturday (unfortunately), but I did only buy necessary stuff.
I spent £27 on my friends birthday presents, but I had a £5 off voucher, and used my Boots £10 gift voucher so in the end I guess it was only £12 of my own money, plus some cough medicine I needed. I also spent £8 in Sainsbury's, but again £5 of that was on presents. I bought 2 boxes of chocolates which were half price, and two bags of sweets which were also half price (those are to hide the ipod for my sister in the gift bag). I also spent £10 on a series 6 of the simpsons dvd for my boyfriend (christmas) as it was such a bargain, but that money came from the leftover in my paypal account, so I kind of consider it not my money anyway. I know that makes no sense...
I'm getting really close to finishing my christmas shopping which is great as I literally have no money. I'm down to £22 in one account & £73 in the other, but the problem with that is that I asked Abbey to reduce my overdraft online by £50 which they have failed to do so I can only really use £23 for fear that they will finally do it & charge me. I asked for this at least 6 weeks ago I think it was, possibly longer. Apparently my sister did the same and got a letter saying they weren't able to reduce it online, but I haven't had anything. I'd call them, but I'd like to keep the £50 back now and I'm scared they'd try and take the whole overdraft away or something as I haven't been paying much money in lately due to looking for a job.
Anyway, back to the christmas shopping... I only have my nan (who I can probably make jewellery for), one of my friends, and my boyfriend left to finish off . I also made an etsy sale a couple of hours ago, so that's £7 profit, but they paid by e-cheque so I need to wait 9 days for the money. I think I'll probably get a pinecone voucher in the post today, if I do I'll update acordingly.
Oh, and that £72 is still in my HMV account...

Ooh, speaking of my lack of money I've just had some good news, Boots have emailed me about an interview. I've picked it for 12 tomorrow. I could have chosen Saturday but I'd rather get it over with, and I might be able to start sooner if I have the interview sooner (if I get it, obviously).
It says about wearing smart clothes because part of it will be on the shop floor, I have a horrible feeling they're going to make me go up and talk to someone. I really hate doing stuff like that, I don't mind talking to people when they approach me, but I hate badgering people, and I don't like it when it's done to me either. That's why I applied to be a cashier rather than one of their floor people. Argh! I guess I'll have to do it but it will be horrible, especially because I'm still all congested. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Morning everyone
,
I have good news in so much as I got the Boots job. It's 37.5 hours a week and will earn me £1700 over the 7 weeks I'll be there (that's without overtime, if I'm able to do any). The only downside is that I was told I'll probably have to work every Saturday. Usually I wouldn't mind that, but my boyfriend works a regular 9-5 job and lives 25 miles away so it feels like I'll never get to see him, especially if they want me to work on Sundays too, which I think is probably likely. I just need to focus on the money and the fact that it's only 7 weeks, plus I will get 22.5% discount on Boots products, and 12.5% on non Boots which is good. The interview wasn't as scary as I thought it would be and I start on Monday.
I've almost done all of my christmas shopping so I think I'll only spend about £200 in the time I'm there, and I have to pay for car insurance in Jan. I think it was about £230 last time but I'll have another years no claims so I'm hoping I'll be able to get it down to around this £200 mark, which will give me approx £1300 to add to my ISA, taking me up to £3,000, yay! If I get up to £3,400 I'll prettymuch finally be on an even keel as that is the value of my overdrafts, so if they called them all in (though that is unlikely as I do pay in regularly), I wouldn't be screwed.
I got a pinecone product to test yesterday so I'll be getting another £4 in vouchers for my dad when I do the follow up survey which will take our christmas voucher stash up to £52 worth. Not bad considering I only joined mid August. I'm still waiting for the other book of vouchers, hopefully they will arrive today. I'm also going to try and write more dooyoo reviews as I've been slacking a bit recently. I'm also approaching the £40 on onepoll, I'm hoping I'll make it to £40 before christmas, they pay quite quicly via bacs apparently which is good.
I'm all excited.
Edit - I forgot to say I added £1 to my savings yesterday, and £5.16 today as my paypal money went in, so I'm up to £1700 exactly in my ISA. I also got 60p on one of my scratchcards, so I'm up to £9.90 on that particular one and will be able to withdraw on Friday at the latest.

The post has arrived, and I had a call from the temp agency so I thought I'd update... The pinecone voucher arrived, so I've added that to my total. Also, I wrote a while ago about my tax situation, but amid all the interviewness yesterday I didn't get around to emailing the agency about it. I got a call earlier, and it turns out that the message I left was never passed on, but I have spoken to the lady I usually speak to today about it and she is going to look into it for me, and send for my P60. As I'll be coming off of the temp agency books I should also get a little bit of holiday paid to me, I think about a day and a half, so that will be another £75 or so which I wasn't anticipating.

Have you decided what to do about the HMV situation??,perhaps if you try to spend it the site might realise the mistake and disallow it then-i would have thought if it doesnt by then you are ok!!
I'm with CL on this one-no conscience lol!!0 -
I think I'm going to wait until early December or whenever I have money, then I'm going to buy presents (not for christmas, I've already dealt with that) which I can stash away. That way if they find out I'll be able to pay them for the stuff but I can't afford to at the moment, and I'll have stuff I'd have had to have bought anyway, rather than loads of treat stuff for myself that I can't really afford. Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470

Morning everyone,
Surprisingly I did actually win 20p on my £9.90 scratchcard, that took me to £10.10, so I was able to withdraw £10 which is now in my ISA. It's quite surprising how much 'free' money I've made so far.
Last night I managed to get one of these http://www.beautycounterdirect.co.uk/free-too-faced-new-romantic-makeup-collection-p-2007.html for my little sister for christmas. I only paid the £2.99 postage so I think it was a bargain. If anyone would like one the code I used was TF44, people have said that the code had expired before and after I'd used it. It went through fine with me though, so I guess it is still worth a try. Besides, surely if the product is still up on the site as free there must be a valid code? If anyone wants any of the other magazine freebies there is a thread on here with most of the codes.
I wrote two dooyoo reviews yesterday and am now up to 3500 points, only another 46500 to go! If I'm disciplined I should be able to get £50 within a month, possibly sooner if I get some more crowns. I try and make all of my reviews very informative which I guess increases the chance of crowns.
I have college later and I'm meeting my friend when she finishes work before that. I need to get some college work done today so I'll have a shower now, get my dooyoo reviews written, then do some biology. Or at least that's the plan.

Well done about the Boots job!
I've been trying to join that pinecone for months, I'm a member of every other survey/testing site it seems but can't get that one!0
