Thanks Gemma, if I come across a pinecone link I'll let you know...
The good news for today is that I had my last ipoints click through I needed, so I've ordered the DVD I was after for my sister. I've also put another £1.60 in my ISA. Oh, also I got crown of the day on dooyoo.
The other news is that I've had some forms through from the Princes Trust for me to fill in, but I'm not sure what to think. For a start although the Boots job is only for 7 weeks I will technically still have a job, so I guess I'll have to wait til that is over before I send them back anyway. Also, there is a participant profile thing that I have to fill out. It has things about your work status, it asks how many months I've been unemployed for, and technically when I fill it out I'll have to say 0, even though I haven't had a permanent job since August last year.
Then it asks about my qualifications, and what the highest one is, so I'm going to have to say I've got a 2.1 in politics. That is followed by it asking what the highest qualifications I have in English & Maths are, so I'm going to have to say I've got 2 A's at GCSE. On paper I'm going to look like an awful candidate. After that it gets even worse as there is a 'What challenges do you face?' section. I obviously don't have problems with reading & maths, I have no history of offending and I'm not an alcoholic or drug user. There is a bit about mental heath issues, and I guess to be honest that's the main reason I'm applying to them.
Basically, I know on paper it looks ridiculous, but I feel like I'm unemployable and was lucky to get a job in Boots. I feel like my qulifications are completely useless because I don't have the personal attributes to match them, and to be honest politics isn't a lot of use to me anyway.
I have no self esteem and have suffered with depression & anxiety in the past, it runs all down my mum's side, and there is a history of suicide in my immediate family. In my last temp job the night before I started I got really nervous and upset that I wouldn't be able to do the job, so I spent ages crying about it. Basically I just feel like I'm useless, and on the odd occasion where I have been interviewed I usually start shaking like crazy. This even happened when I went to the job centre back in July. I applied for loads of jobs that I didn't get, and haven't even attemped to apply for graduate jobs (bar one which I didn't get) because I know I'll never get them. What makes it even more ridiculous is that when I have had jobs I've been really good at them, and my productivity has been much higher than was expected of me (I'm talking about double roughly). I just can't put it across to people.
Really I'm completely directionless and want the chance to be my own boss because I need to be in control of what I'm doing. I'm pretty sure I could make a go of it too. Also, the form asks about a loan. To be honest I don't really want a loan, and if I did it would be tiny, I just really want their help as I'm too scared to start up a business alone. I don't want to accidently screw up the tax or break laws which I find a bit scary. Argh!

Morning everyone,
Today has got off to a really good start, I've got just over £8 worth of points on dooyoo, and they have only taken me three or four days to accumulate. I've also moved £7.35 into my ISA (basically the profit from the ring I sold the other day).
The make-up pallet I ordered for my sister the other day has arrived, I think it was sent first class as well, unlike the second class I paid for. It's SO nice, if it wasn't one per customer, and the code hadn't possibly expired, I'd have bought myself the black one. I also got a cheque for £8 in the post which is a refund for the train fair to an interview. I'm going to town in a bit so I'll pay that in.
The down side is that my credit card bill arrived....for a whole £2.87. Although I cut it up I still have to use it online to pay my etsy fees as they are in US$ and they only accept credit cards. That isn't a problem though. I can't believe how well I've managed to survive without it. Although I'd always pay it off in full which was sometimes a struggle, I'm sure just having it made me spend a lot more as I never really thought about what I was buying like I do now. I'm never getting another one, they're evil!
I'm also feeling better about the Prince's Trust today, I'm going to send a covering letter explaining my sporadic employment of late, and my self confidence issues. I guess the worst they can do is tell me where to go.
I think that's everything for now, I'm up to £8.30 on one of my scratchcards so I'll be able to withdraw from that soon.

Right, I've just been having a bit of a brainstorm about any more free money I should get this year, so far I should have the following coming to me at some point:
£55 - Quidco
£30ish - Global Test Market
At least £10 Valued Opinions ( have another £6 in there already so will probably hit another £10 before the end of the year)
Will probably hit £25 on Pure Profile
£50 - Dooyoo, this should be quite easily achievable as I have nearly two months and already have over £8
At least £7 from Autoinsight
£40 if I reach payout on Onepoll
£26.19 from Homepage Friends (due to be paid mid December)
£40-50 from free scratchcards
£20 from Consumer Pulse
Plus anything else from Toluna, IPSOS (will probably reach a £10 voucher by the end of the year) and Lightspeed
That all adds up to around £300, not bad!Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
Afternoon all
,
I've paid my credit card bill this morning for my etsy fees. I paid that out of the £8 I got yesterday, so I've added the remaining £5.13 to my ISA.
I've also written one of my dooyoo reviews for today, so I'm over the £9 mark now (yay). After much deliberating I've finally decided what to get my boyfriend for christmas. I've already got him series 6 of the simpsons, series 5 of peep show and jam. I'm also going to get:
Wii play (HMV) - £25 with student discount then probably free with e-voucher
Pro Evo 2009 (HMV) - £16 with student discount & again probably free with voucher
LOTR Box set - (Amazon) - £18, I have £12 in vouchers, so may or may not get another dooyoo one to make it free
Arrested Development series 2 & 3 - I'll only get these if they go back to £9.99 on HMV, then I can get them for £9 each with student discount & again possibly free using e-voucher
So that's it for him...
I think that's all to say now really, am still waiting for a Boots voucher from valued opinions, though that should arrive soon as it has nearly been a month. I'm going to use it to get one of the half price no7 magnifying light up mirrors for my little sisters bday. They are £20, but with my voucher & discount it will be just over £5. I've already dealt with her xmas presents so I'm going to stash that away for her birthday. After that I have 2 friends I need to get pesents for, then I'm done. Oh, and my nan, but she never wants anything so I will probably make her some jewellery.

Morning everyone,
I haven't written in here for a few days, mainly because I'm having to work 9-6, so by the time I've sat in traffic getting home, eaten and showered I'm not really in the mood to do a lot. The people at Boots are nice, but I wished I finish at 5, I get an hour and a half of breaks which for me is too much, I'd rather have less and finish at 5, but it's only for 7 weeks so I'm putting up with it.
Money wise I can't 100% remember what I've been doing for the last few days. I withdrew £10 from a scratchcard which I've added to my total, and I've added £28 to my ISA today, with other money I've added recently the total is now £1,768.90. I got another dooyoo crown, so that has boosted my points a bit, I nearly have £15 worth in there, but I'm trying to hold out for the £50 I think. Oh, I also made two or three more sales, which is where most of the £28 has come from.

Evening everyone,
I've had a good day today. I was hoping that I might get paid by the temp agency as although I do have money I'm running a bit low. It turns out that I was, but I only got my holiday pay and not the tax, so I'll have fun trying to get that back from the inland revenue in April. That said, I got £89 in holiday pay, so I guess the tax can wait. My sister is sending £28 she owes to me for using my paypal funds to pay for something, so that will be alright for me to survive on til I get paid next week. For that reason I've added £80 of the holoiday pay to my ISA, I'm easily going to have over £2000 by christmas which is great.
I've also got another £1 paypal from lightspeed for the shortest survey ever.It was literally 10 questions, and £7 from ciao (finally), which just about takes me over the £100 mark for free money, not bad for under a month. I'm also able to claim another voucher from consumer pulse, but I'm not sure which voucher to get, so I haven't added that to my total, I'll update once I've oredered.
I think that's it for now, my boyfriend managed to get himself a job at the Home Office & had his last day in his old uni job at the campus bookshop today. I haven't seen him for 2 weeks and I can't go tonight because I have work tomorrow, it isn't fair.

I need to go to bed soon so I wake up in time for work tomorrow, but I'm just popping in quickly to update as I haven't been here recently. Saturday at work was manic, and on Sunday I went to visit my sister in Falmouth so I was up at 4.45 and didn't get to bed til midnight, with 13 hours in the car in the middle. I didn't get enough sleep on Sunday so I wasn't in the best mood yesterday, but I've been much happier today.
I've managed to get a £10 voucher from consumer pulse, another £10 from a scratchcard (I finally won £5, oddly my sister did on Sunday too), and a £7 amazon voucher from auto insight. I've also sold a £15 necklace
. I haven't added anything more to my ISA recently as I haven't got that much in my current account at the moment and don't want to go overdrawn and get charged, especially as I need to buy petrol tomorrow, but I'll add a big lump when I get paid on Friday

Morning everyone, lots of good news today
,
On the free money front I've ordered a £10 Amazon voucher from Dooyoo, and a £10 Arcadia one from Consumer Pulse which I will sell to my sister for the cash. I've also done two pinecone surveys which is another £8 for my dads christmas luncheon voucher stash. I'm exactly a month on from when I started counting my free money & I'm already at £157 which doesn't even include the £30ish cheque I'll get from Global Test Market, so it's nearer £200 which is pretty amazing I think.
Also, this morning was double scratches on the free scratchcards, and they gave £1 bonus. I won £5 again on one of the cards (can't quite believe it, I got loads of 10p's since August & now I've had 2 lots of £5 in 4 days!). I guess it's £15 if you count the £5 my sister got on Sunday too. I do hers for her when I do mine, I'm stashing the money away for her secretly and am going to knock it off of her overdraft when she graduates, otherwise I know she will fritter it away on rubbish as she's a bit of a spendaholic. I'm at £9.40 on the card I won £5 on so I'll be able to withdraw soon.
I've also been paid today so I've put £100 in my ISA, but I've been taxed AGAIN. I'm going to get a huge tax cheque come the time I can claim it back. That will be good at the time, but I'd rather have the money sitting in my ISA now. I've managed to sell more earrings & a bracelet, so I have £47.50 in paypal which is a bit irritating, though I'll be able to withdraw soon.
The bad news isthat I spent £25 on petrol yesterday. I went to Asda and was expecting it to be 92.9p but it was 90.9 so I filled the tank up as I was 30 miles away from home & around here it's still about 94/95.9. I also spent £12 in IKEA, but that was on presents. Oh, and I bought two skirts on Tuesday which set me back £14, so they were a bargain & the only luxury as such that I've bought. I wanted them when they were £18 but didn't buy them, went in on Tuesday & found them reduced to £7 each. I could never decide which colour I liked best but couldn't have got them both at £18, so in the end I got both for less than the cost of one at full price.
Anyway, I think that's all for the update now....

Just a quick update today. I made 60p on one scratchcard so I could withdraw, won ANOTHER £5.10 (can hardly believe it) so I also withdrew, and finally another 60p on the last card which is almost at withdrawal level. I've added my £20 winnings to my ISA so I'm almost at the £2000 mark in my ISA. When I finally get my tax overpayments back I'll put all of the money into the ISA. At the moment I'll be getting £130, but I expect I'll get taxed for at least another week or two so it will probably be more
