I've been reading all the old posts to find some more tips... I came across the contents of the old kit. Man I wish I had joined then! I only got 25 catalogues, I much prefer the GF hurricane to the amethyst one I got, and apparently you used to get 2 tealight trees - I've had to borrow my leaders to show off my hurricane.
Also, what's that about the 6 bonus boxes of votives? I didn't get that either.
Erm... rant over! :rotfl:0 -
The 6 boxes of votives was a special...sorry!!
And you should have had 25 everyday catalogues and 25 spring/summer.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -

And you're right about the catalogues, I did get 50 then - sorry!
It might be worth asking your upline leader if you get a free gift from her when you qualify in your first business month ( apart from the britestart freebies) . We do that with all new sponsers in our team , though every leader is different , they get to pick a free bit of kit up to the value of £600 -
Hmm, thanks Candlesrus. I wonder if the trio of tropical jars is it. I went to my regional meeting and the region leader said that anyone who joined in May would be receiving those. If it is the free gift you get when you qualify, then they have picked a strange present, as you would also get those if you complete brite start month 2.
Not that I am complaining! I may not bonus in July, and even if I did, I'd have one for me and one to give away!0 -
I give all my consultants a choice of booking gift if they qualify in the 1st business month.I get paid to party!:rotfl:0

You have to do promotions to give your consultants a little boost.
Everyone loves Freebies!!!!:TI get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
It's about supporting and rewarding your team members too . They get rewards from us if they bonus , or do well at something , bring someone into the team etc , It really is a great motivator . We all like to feel appreciated .
I like going on trips etc , but sometimes it would be nice if they did other smaller trips as rewards ( like a spa weekend etc) not just for premoting out , but for sales and consistancy. It is nice to see different people getting rewards rather than the same people everytime. As a leader it makes the job much more worthwhile if you see others benefit and do well0 -
I must admit that going to my regional meeting the other day helped boost my confidence, as well as getting me really excited and eager to start!
It is really nice to see people get recognition for their hard work, in so many places you get rewarded with ungratefulness.
I was a teacher... I know... Most kids/parents/headteachers don't give you any recognition for the work you do, even when you give 110%. I created and organised a school exchange, it took so many hours of my time, made me extra-tired, and in the end of the day was worth it to see the kids have such a good experience, but I did wonder many times "why am I bothering?".
At least I know that if I work hard with PartyLite, I'll get rewards. I'm not seeing it as a whole new career, just something to help a little financially but especially make me feel more positive. I'll get to meet new people, gain experience in a brand new area, have fun and get paid too!
My first show on my own is on Friday, and I can't wait!!0
