I like going on trips etc , but sometimes it would be nice if they did other smaller trips as rewards ( like a spa weekend etc) not just for premoting out , but for sales and consistancy. It is nice to see different people getting rewards rather than the same people everytime. As a leader it makes the job much more worthwhile if you see others benefit and do well
I totally agree on this one. The only thing about conference that I dislike is the fact that you see the RVP's/SRVP's getting so much recognition and free products/gifts. I know they work hard but they get paid very very weel for it. I think if they did something for the consistent consultant then this would benefit them much more. I know I am not alone in feeling this way.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -

I can honestly say you will not regret signing up!
Even if for some reason it doesn't work for you, it will have cost you nothing and you will have got some nice products!
Before signing I would find out how many people would hold a party to help you get started as you do need your friends & family to help you get started.
Where abouts are you?I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
Hi candlegirl
I am in Northants, have changed info to show that
Good idea about seeing who will host, will do a check over the next couple of days.
Many thanks0 -

Before you start , get a list of people together who you are going to ask . Try the F.R.A.N.K method , Friends , Relatives , Aqaintances , Neighbours , Kids .
Perhaps hand out some tealights for them to try out and see what they think before they commit to having a show
Decide what you want from this business , is it just to earn a bit extra or do you want to go the distance and turn it into a main household income
Getting a good start is vital to getting your business off the ground . The more parties you book initially in the first few weeks the more you chance you will have to keep getting follow on bookings . Try and get at least 6 parties in your first 6 weeks plus your starter show
Think about who you will sign up with as the person you sign up with will be very important
Are they near to you ?
What rewards and incentives does your upline give?
Are you able to go out with your upline and watch them do a show?
Will they do your starter show with you ?
Will they show you other ways of getting parties ?
How successful is their business? Can they give you the support and advice you need?
Are there unit meetings and training sessions offered near you ?
These are important factors in helping your business to succeed
Good luck with it , we all wish you the best and keep us up to date with how you are doing0 -

Thank you xbrenx.
Ok so you must all be fed up with me posting again and again... But here goes! I've seen three different consultants/leaders do a dem, and I've also read 2 or 3 different "flow suggestions".
My first show as a consultant is tomorrow, and although I have it all ready (I have made myself some cue cards), I am not 100% satisfied with the order of what I'm going to do. So my question is: in which order do you tend to do your dem? Especially, when do you play the game, and when do you mention booking a party?
Thanks x0 -
Everyone will be different . It's important that you adopt your own style and do what you feel comfortable with , for example their are various games to play and I didn't like the P/L version of the "left right" game so made my own up . I tend to start with a game because it breaks the ice and is a bit of fun , also it helps people to get to know each other . I don't bring up about booking a party initially but refer to hostess rewards and what the hostess gets for holding a show etc , I also mention booking gifts and hostess commision , and what the hostess will get if she gets bookings. More importantly when I collect the orders I ask each customer if they are interested in booking a show . My advice would be to always create the want first ( by doing the demonstation etc ) then work on getting a booking later.
If you hostess coach properly and explain exactly what she needs to do to get all the benefits, the hostess may already have the booking before you even get to do the Party, that way it takes the pressure off finding a booking on the night.0 -
Hi, I have only just become a partylite consultant and i'm having real trouble getting people to have parties. I've only had one party and sale wise it was good but the only person that booked a show was the hostess. Everyone I know says they can't host one, not even my mum will host one and she loves the products now.
It's getting me down because the products are really good and the people at the show said I had done really well and they felt at ease with me.
Has anyone got ideas of getting bookings that don't involve having to put an ad in a newspaper or anything like that?0
