This would be great for me, as, not only do I take a packed lunch into work everyday, but also like rambling in my spare time, and these items are rucksack essentials! I'd say I spend about £1 on packed lunch, that's a sarnie, some fruit and home-made muesli bar. :)

With the cost of cooked meats, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit and veg and, not least, bread I reckon a packed lunch now costs me somewhere between £1.20 and £1.50.
At least the coffee is still free...

Oh dear...most these moneysavers are making me feel bad!

I used to spend £10 a day on lunch...but have learnt my lesson, and I thought cutting down to £5 a day was good, but I should make more effort to take packed lunch..

I have started to the last 2 weeks...so that would be about £2.00 :j

although the thermos in this kit means i could take my own coffee too and save even more :T
  • About £3 a day, far too much, as my bank account keeps telling me, please can i have one :j

Hi there, this sounds like a great thing to win!

Since rediscovering MSE my DH and I both take packed lunches to work each day so I think it must cost about £1.30 each per day?

I am proud to say I started a new job on 1st September and still havent spent a penny on other food than my packed lunch. The ladies in the sandwich shop have yet to meet me :T
