  • Personally I don't spend anything on lunch as I am at home, although at a guess I would say £1 as I have a yoghurt & cup-a-soup. However... My son has £2.50 every day for his school lunch... unaffordable at the moment but survivable...

Varies between £0.10 (home laid eggs and toast) and up to a £0.75 when we have something posh such as Eggs Benedict ... most of the cost is in the Ham and Hollandaise sauce. Yum!

Picnics are about £1 a head including crisps, home-made bread, a can of drink and Egg Mayonnaise.

    MMmmmm ... I'm now hungry
