I'm at home so up to £1. Usually have batch cooked soup with home made bread or sandwiches. If we're out then sandwiches so still no more than £1.
The kids packed lunch about 50p.0 -
Varies £1-30

About £1.50 eating at home every day with the kids!
Thanks0 -
I don't spend much on lunch i think less than 5£ as i take my fruit and leftovers from home to work. That could be a piece of pizza or sandwich made with dinner leftovers.:j0

i find that the more of you in the house that take packed lunches, the cheaper it is. i spend roughly £15/week on stuff for packed lunches for 3 of us - 1 adult & 2 kids. plus if we have pasta for tea in the week then i do extra so we can take pasta salad in our lunch boxes 1 day. i make a point of carrying no more than £5 in my purse too, then i`m not tempted to buy stuff from the patisserie in receptionHelen0

If I can be bothered to make lunch in the morning it costs (my mum) about 50p, otherwise the cheapest sandwich at work is £2.50 and isn't as nice or as filling.0

this sounds fab.
I used to buy sandwiches from the shop downstairs for about 2.50 each, i now make my own soup on Sunday which lasts all week. I sometimes also take leftovers from the night before. I spend less thatn £1.00 per day,
The lunch box would be fantastic for me, i really cannot afford to buy one.0 -
I'd say I spend about £2 a day on my lunch for the majority of days when I take a packed lunch. Otherwise if I buy my lunch it's anything up to £10 which is rididulous when you consider some people spend that every working day every month so that must total a scary amount of money.
Packed lunches are the way forward, it'd be nice to have a proper kit to take it to work in!!0 -
I try and plan my lunch at work and buy all the food for the week.
Sometimes i'll buy a reduced ready meal at a supermarket on the day. I probably spend about £5-6 a week on lunch.:D0 -
As I work I rarely get a way with less than £3. If I feel in need of treats then it can be more. Not very moneysaving but then I'm a newbie!0
