  • I either make sandwiches or eat leftovers, and take a few bits of fruit too so I spend maximum of £2 a day.

I'm a geek for food saving tubs, pots and bags!
  • I spend about £2 on lunch for myself and £2 - £3 each for the kids dependent on whether they have packed lunch or school lunch
  • I roughly spend about 70p a day on food (make my own - end of day bargains in Supermarket!):D
  • I usually spend about £1 a day making sandwiches.

But now my girlfriend has started doing it too, and steals all the tupperware!
  • Hey there!

I spend between 40p and 80p Mwahahahahahaaaa... if I don't have enough time to make my own the night before I just revert to a now classic MSE plan...because I finish work quite late some nights I manage to swing by Sainsburys to secure their marked-down sandwiches at 10pm every night - they are always good for the next day - thanks MSE for tips like these - one day soon I will be debt free!!!!:T
  • I am a Masters student and therefore spend as little as I can! I take a packed lunch most days which is around £1.50 - yogurt, sandwiches, snack bars and sometimes fruit - other days I eat at home which could be a small tin of soup with some bread, so around 70p.
  • Ooh looks like I need to save money! I buy my lunch in M&S each day and buy a salad and some fruit - average cost about £6:eek:
  • About £2-£7 depending on whether I have time to make lunch or not
  • I spend around £1-£3 a day on lunch with either a packed lunch for work or something homemade at home. One of my daughters has packed lunches three times a week and my other daughter has two packed lunches and three school dinners.

I make lunch for everyone the night before (tho' it's my least favourite job!) so probably about 75p for me, £1 for hubbie and a bit more for the ravenous teenager:rolleyes:
