Shouldn't be a problem for a card swap, just ring them with the details of your new box.

Panic over, i've got the phone line out. Slots easily into the new one. I guess it had been stuck in their for 9 years!

Time to call Sky!

Right...

The chap reckons the box automatically updated to go with the viewing card as I was getting all the channels I pay for within a couple of minutes of installing, but I insisted he took my details of the new machine etc and he typed it all in.

He said it would take upto 4 hours to pair up, but i'm getting all the channels already...

I haven't been left with too much in way of optimism he knew what he was talking about.

Not unusual for some Sky employee's to give that impression.:rolleyes:
