fingers crossed that some payments start to come thro' this afternoon - still thinking of all those who've not yet received their money0

I have been reading this forum with interest for several weeks, but have been too nervous to post anything myself up to now because of some of the uncalled-for abuse I was witnessing. However, I am somewhat reassured by the responses of the vast majority of members, so am taking the plunge.
I hope I'm not being too naive, but my take from all your comments is that this money will eventually turn up, so in the great scheme of things, maybe we'll look back on this episode with nostalgia :rotfl:
I have quite a bit (nowhere near the FSCS limit I'm happy to say) still in a couple of KE Fixed Term deals and am content to leave those (for the time being anyway). My problem was I needed some cash from the KE Savings for a purchase and 2 weeks on I still have not received it, so have had to make other (more expensive) arrangements.
For information, my request was made late afternoon on 8th October by CHAPS. Having missed the 2pm deadline I was expecting the transfer to be kicked off on 9th and received at the latest by COB Friday 10th. On 9th, I checked the KE account and was reassured to see that the account had been debited by the £16,000 and a CHAPS fee of £20 debited. I have still not seen the money arrive in my HSBC linked account. I tried a few messages left on the KE website over the last 2 weeks, but have not had any kind of response to these. I also tried a few phone calls, but gave up after waiting in queues for what seemed like hours.
On the positive side, my wife made a smaller BACS withdrawal on 9th (£2,000) and it was in the linked account by the morning of 17th, which is not too bad at all.
I am really grateful for this forum - as well as putting pressure on KE/ING it is some comfort to know I am not alone.
I only hope my faith is justified.
Cheers0 -

Welcome to everyone new - nearly all of us on this thread are very nice people! If you are missing money -make sure you let Haider know so you can be added to THE LIST.
Also if you are only slightly computer literate -like me - and there are things that are mentioned that you don't know how to do - post and ask!
In the last fortnight I have learnt how to do screensaves, ignore trolls, add :j and do buıʇıɹʍ uʍop ǝpısdn
Not bad eh?
Yep, I am a Nationwide CHAP (8/10 CHAPS to Nationwide) - not there yet.0 -

He promised a Team Leader would call me back (after he emaild them), who could get details of my individual account through head office he would like to think. I need to know why my automatic transfer by CHAPS is NOT one of the payments made.
I transferred by CHAPS on 7/8th October to HSBC, no funds as of 10mins ago.
I hope this is not more mis-information/lies:mad::mad::mad:
The Team leader Helen rang me back who cannot access individual accounts ( mine must be handled manually ). After much insistence she said her manager (head of KE call centre) would ring me back ....0 -

I gave instructions over 2 weeks ago to break my fixed term deposit. I was told then it would take 48 hours. I managed to get through to the call centre and was told that they have no idea when they will process these requests.
Does anyone have any better information?
The messages on the website are full of PR spin and only give a partial glimpse at the situation. It seems worse than they say.0 -
Well - I have recently tried to transfer £1 by BACS from my KE account.
Tried it on Sunday - the first date it would let me put in for the transfer was today - 21st. (don't know why it wouldn't let me transfer it yesterday).
This am - it was still on statement as pending - it is now showing that it has transferred - Will report back on this 'within 3 banking days'.KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -
