Does anyone have any better information?
The messages on the website are full of PR spin and only give a partial glimpse at the situation. It seems worse than they say.
I instructed a break on my fixed term deposit 08/10 mid afternoon and it was broken last night.0 -
I requested a BACS transfer of 30,000 stg on 12/10/08. This sum has disappeared from my ING account but to date has not appeared in the recipiant account. I received an email from ING yesterday stating my transaction is one of only 5% they have been unable to process and apologising for the delay. I have never felt compelled to post on a forum before but I have found this thread, and indeed Martin's excellent website comforting, and I feel sure I will get my money back eventually...I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Friday!

After filming me, my ex colleague, who is a freelance Panorama producer, obviously had to talk to the press office at KE and ING and give them the right to reply. Although we had heard nothing before that they immediately issued a press release that was shown on the Panorama website.

For this reason it was decided to drop my interview. However, in the light of ongoing problems it has been added as a brief clip.0 -
IMPORTANT SPECIAL CASES!
I read that some people here are nearing County Court Summons stage due to lack of funds. While I can't promise anything, I can try and ask ING to find specific money for those people and see if anything can be done as an emergency goodwill measure.
Obviously I've no clue if it'll agree.
If this is you then please pm me your name and address and phone number.
Please while I know everyone else is worried - if you can survive until friday without being impacted then do so, the only way this'll work is if it is no more than two or three people - if I get bombarded then frankly there's no chance.
So please please only PM me if its an ABSOLUTE emergency, if I try too many, I've no chance. And do it quick - im away from my computer all day tomorrow - and need to try ING in office hours.
