I'm feeling more confident about my money coming this Friday than I ever was about the date last Friday (when I didn't get it!)
Thanks Martin for staying on the case - good to have you so involved!
Hi to everyone else and thanks to you all for your company during the last 2 weeks. It's the only upside of not having got my money - still being able to enjoy your company on such a regular basis!KE veteran - life seemed so much simpler then!0 -
I like the link about the best places to put your money...
"Northern Rock, but hurry. you may only have a couple of weeks left"
Let's hope I get my money back by then to take advantage of this then!:rotfl:
Don't bother ... they are dropping the rate - again - from 1st November.
That's right: suck 'em in with a decent rate and then lower the rate to current inflation rate. Great!
Don't they know we're all wise to their tricks now?!
Good luck to everyone today. And don't forget to join the Icesave forum when you're good and ready.0 -
requested a transfer 8th/9th by chaps. still nothing. add me to the (growing) list. shouldn't this be on the telly.0

"Expect" is not the same as "will".
I can’t ever see them using the word ‘will’. If one person was left unpaid and ING had said ‘will’, they could be sued.0 -
All,
Just a quick post to say that I (and many of the others who got paid yesterday) are still here and will continue to watch this thread until you all get paid out.
FWIW on my personal travels on this thread I have spoken to the KE call centre (countless times), the ING call centre (countless times), Senior Mgrs at KE (pre-collapse), KE's clearing bank (RBS), the adminstrators at KE, APACS, the Treasury, the FSCS, the FSA and the BBC.
My phone bill is going to be £££ but I felt I was making a difference, and that's the great thing about MSE, together we can and did make a difference.
Keep your chins up, the money is coming. looking fwd to a virtual celebration on Friday.
Regards,

Just registered to post this.
Requested a BACS transfer on 7th Oct, my money finally showed up in my account last night (21st Oct). Hope everyone else gets theirs too.0 -
Someone mentioned a deadline for claiming money from the FSCS or the Dutch authorities. In the hopefully unlikely event that we don't get our money on Friday is this taking us past any of these deadlines and if not, when are they? Should we all be making applications now just in case? I'm not asking this to cause any extra worries but simply being realistic and realising we might need fall back positions.
As always, thank you so much to all the people who have stayed with this forum even after receiving their money.0 -
How about a transfer today rather than flipping Thursday and more importantly an explanation WHY ING have muffed this up so badly????
KE and ING are a waste of space. Still waiting for my £36k...
Exactly my view ..... there's absolutely no reason why these payments cannot be made today. What are ING doing between now and Thursday that's more important? There should be an electronic list of the remaining payments that are required to be made which can be processed without delay. If approval has been given to make these payments then .......get the hell on with it ING!.....(or at least explain) :mad:0 -
