I've been watching this thread for some time and have just registered in order to confirm my transfer by CHAPS from the 8th October has still not arrived in my linked account.
There appears to be another promise of Friday 24th - here's hopingING/KE Debacle
8/10 CHAPS to Barclays
31/10 MONEY ARRIVED0 -

Just to say as a valiant job is being done collaiting who still hasn't been paid. I'm not going to start a new thread today and new poll.
We are keeping an eye on this now and will do so, but in truth with ING now giving a fixed date, not much can be done until we know the result of that.
We are looking at it though.
If any major or worrying things happen changes urgently and we miss it please PM MSE Dan (though only for major changes, we're looking back here regularly)
Martin
Thanks Martin. :T
The bit about "a fixed date"............I think we have been here before.
But, like I said before, I am giving them until Friday, I have no choice.0 -
No sure who's keeping a list or where but you can add me to it:
BACS OUT 7 OCT KE - RECEIVED 17 OCT COVENTRY
CHAPS OUT 8 OCT KE - STILL MISSING COVENTRY
The Bacs was just bcs I needed it to pay a bill, the Chaps was everything else. Really annoying.0 -
Just been in touch with Krapthing , they tried to spiel the forthcoming Thursday / Friday story to me.
When I explained I had read all there bedtime stories and was requesting an investigation as to why my money had not arrived, there enquired as to how I had requested the transfer, when they looked at my account and seen it was a CHAPS on the 8th Oct they said that CHAPS is a manual transaction and as such falls within the 5% of payments which there was a delay on. So my friends, I would suspect we will all be here for a long, and continuing bedtime fairy tale :rotfl:0 -

That's not consistent with my experience. CHAPS on 8th received in Barclays link account yesterday P.M.0 -
ING, What's the obsession with Fridays0

My theory on the new delayed deadline 24th, worked out from my tiny brain with no concrete knowledge:
The transfers are delayed till Friday because ING are sending them via BACS, although they appear as CHAPS. They probably did a deal with the clearing agency for this to happen. BACS are free transfers and administrators don’t like to add costs unnecessarily. If true, I don’t know why they can’t just admit it. All we ever wanted was to be kept:

Thanks Martin. Just one point: ING still have not given a fixed date. They just say "we would expect these to start arriving in the destination bank account on Friday 24 October."
"Expect" is not the same as "will".Where now?0 -
hi PJL1, yes i was a lucky one and did receive mine yesterday - im a bit confused now. i thought the list that was being collated was for people who've still not received it. i adjusted my sig as Bigg suggested.
if there is a list for people who've received then where do i sign?!
No, I meant the "not received" list.
I must have missed your post, glad you've got your money! :T0
