cVCR - £20k CHAPS on 09/10/08 to Barclays
KE account shows money has left the account, but still nothing in destination account.

ING say they are still dealing with the backlog of transactions, but can't identify any transaction reference produced by KE (how is this possible? where does the 95% come from if there isn't a list of outstanding transfers?)

Yep add me to that (just checked) and also my Mum - who only put her life savings in Kaupthing on my advice. Have so far managed not to worry her as she doesn't know the transfer has been delayed - but I'm feeling very guilty and can't stall her much longer.

not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i will do anyway,

basically i've got a few grand in my KE account. i figured there'd be a mad rush to withdraw money, with inevitable problems when the bank got sold, so i thought it might be best to wait until the inintial stampede died down, and then transfer my money when the system is less strained.

Is the general consensus that now is a good time to withdraw the money, or should i wait a week or two longer if i want to avoid the hassle?

just had phone call from Alastair, as others have said, he is a genuine nice guy. Said the same as others have posted. Despite his call, I feel more worried than ever, our numbers are dwindling, the Friday deadline (we've been there before). need a break from this website, me thinks, not good for the health.
