    Hi

The ING Spokespersons post will go in the front post.

Just to note I know some people have said "why didnt you post earlier". Actually the spokesperson did register earlier, but then realised it broke our rules and didn't post. It was only when I specifically invited him to post today and gave permission I found this out - so to be fair that's not something to have a go at.

From my perspective, we are now in a position with a firm deadline. To try and push that forward isn't going to work.

On friday afternoon I (or Dan - as Im sure you realise we're working together on this, and other commitments mean Im out of the office) will be back here to check no one is missing and everyone is satisfied.

As said before we are going to see this through until everyone has their cash. And we now have a more open door with the spokespeople at ING (who I should say, personally do when I speak, seem to be keen to sort this out).

I hope this reaches you. I have been following the forum closely, I have been calm and patient, but I have stretched it to the limit now. Please can you try to get me a solid answer. I closed my fixed term account on 8th October, and asked for a CHAPS, then it all kicked off, and between tears and tissues I waited patiently. I then find out that as my fixed term account was closed I was not on the CHAPS list, ok fair enough, I appreciate the enormity of what is going on, but I am so desperate now and no one can seem to understand or give me a straight answer. I have emailed both ING and Kaupthing, and neither have replied. Does the 23rd list mean Closed Accounts for Fixed Terms too, or am I going to have to wait and wait and wait, please can you see if you can find out if and when they will be dealing with the closed fixed term accounts because it is all I have and I really do need it now. Thank you in advance for everything you and your team have done and will continue to do.
    Money requested 08/10, left KE 22/10 - Arrived 24/10

    UPDATE: MONDAY 20TH OCTOBER, 16.30PM

Kaupthing Edge outstanding payment issue resolved
We have been working hard to clear the back log of payments and the vast majority of these have now been made. However, there are a small number of payments which we have been unable to process so far due to administrative issues within Kaupthing Edge.
Kaupthing Edge in the UK is being run by Administrators and we have now received their confirmation that all outstanding payments will be released by Thursday 23 October and we would expect these to start arriving in the destination bank account on Friday 24 October.
ING Direct and the Administrators would like to apologise once again for the delay in resolving this issue.
Your money is safe and secure and our priority remains to restore normal service to all customers.
STILL WAITING for refund of 1x £20 fee plus missing interest on our 2 accounts.

Firstly the best of luck to those still chasing the money - I know how you feel.

Secondly I have started another thread to discuss the CHAPS fee and loss of interest so can we keep this original one just for those chasing and us supporters?

Good. I think it's extremely insensitive of people already reunited with their money to be discussing potential lost interest and CHAPS fees in front of all the people still waiting.

Have you all forgotten what state you were in only a few short hours ago? Personally, even now with my money 'safely' back in the Halifax this is the last thing on my mind. I want everyone to get their savings back before we start haggling over anything else. And even then I'm not sure i really care. I've got thousands back that I thought I wasn't going to see again without a long and tedious fight, so what's an extra few pounds to me? And yes, I'm aware those that had massive amounts would have a lot more interest than me, before I get a b****cking!
    CHAPS 8/10 received Halifax 20/10
    BACS 18/11 (£30) (actioned 19/11) received CHAPS Halifax 21/11
    BACS 24/11 (£50) (actioned 25/11) received Halifax 28/11

    Stercus accidit:cool:
