I am now starting a new society, it's called
The MushroomING Society....
It's for us who are constantly left if the dark, fed b*** s***, and left to push our own way through!0 -

Anybody seen any?
Maybe we should compile a list of ING's porkies, and give them scores for, say, imagination, originality, presentation, believability etc.
I'm really suprised no-one else has mentioned this today, this would be my main argument, they must have blatently lied on Friday!!0 -
no money, rang bank nothing in the pipeline, no replies to emails sent this morning. They can fob us off for another week.If you want to be rich, never, ever have kids0

Started the day quite optimistic but it's wearing off fast. Having spoken to 4 different people at ING's customer services today and getting conflicting information I'm of the view they know nothing beyond what we know already from the ING Update site. Certainly no longer holding my breath that my missing CHAPS payment from 7 Oct will arrive today.
ING is one of the world's largest banks and it just beggars belief that almost 2 weeks after taking on these accounts from KE there seems to be no-one at all in the organisation capable of providing a simple clear statement about what is going on with the missing CHAPS payments.CHAPS 7/10 RECEIVED 20/10 NAT WEST0 -

... I phone every day and have this morning phoned both ING and Kaupthing to ask when it will be dealt with. The answer to this was it is in the hands of the administrators and as yet there is no set date when these will be dealt with. I would be intersted if anyone has a further update on this.
You're absolutely right on the text I have underlined above. Repayments are in the hands of the Administrators (Ernst & Young) who are supervising a small band of people in KSF'S head office treasury department. Neither the Administrators, nor Ing nor KE are giving out any information to customers about the exact status of their repayment. All they will do ,if pressed, is take details and give a sort of promise that it will be looked into, but they don't know when and they don't promise any direct feedback.0 -
I go a few times a day too..0

Not all BACS have gone through. My wife and I had 1 each on 12/10 and 13/10, but we have had yesterdays email.
I think that all BACS transfers around the time of the takeover, i.e. October 7th to 8th/9th have gone through but those requested after the ING takeover are still outstanding and those affected have all received the ING email either yesterday or early today.BACS requested 8/10/08, received 17/10/080 -

Yes indeed worrying when you speak to the Customer Service Director, who may as well have been sat at a Customer Advisor Station in the contact centre.
As I said to him, I'm still going to the police this evening, I will do whatever it takes to force the truth of the situation out in to the open, if that means I report them for financial irregularities/theft/fraud then so be it. I'm not going to listen to "I don't know" from a Director of one of the biggest banks in the world.0 -
I have received the undernoted email to say that I am among the 5% payments suffering further delays.
Reading the email it sounds to me like my transfer is now in the hands of the administrators.
I would like to do a count of how many have received this email, how much they requested, by which method and on which date. If you could pm me then I will post back to give an idea of the numbers involved.
I do think this is a separate issue from those awaiting CHAPS payments as none of those people seem to have received this email. I think relates to those payments instructed from around 11th October.

Over the past week ING Direct has been working with the Administrators of Kaupthing Edge to clear a backlog of payment instructions that were not able to be completed when Kaupthing Edge encountered difficulties.
While we have now processed over 95% of these payments, I am sorry to inform you that we are still working on a number of manual payment instructions, including the withdrawal request that you have made.
I do understand that the continuing delay is frustrating and I wanted to reassure you that my team is working with the Administrators to resolve the outstanding payment issues.
I appreciate your continued patience and I will contact you again shortly to confirm when the payments will be made.
Yours sincerely
