1st time on a forum. Thankyou to everyone for all the information regarding Kaupthing/ING chaos. I read this thread several times daily to see recent developments. Still waiting money via chaps 9th Oct. Loathed to spend another week-end waiting for money to turn up but like everyone else no choice.0

Don't know if it will do any good but have just logged a complaint about the way ING have handled the KE takeover with the AFM who are the Dutch financial supervisory body. Apparantly they are supposed to ensure dutch banks do not give misleading advice / information to consumers etc...
Probably a waste of time and no doubt will not speed up the money actually arriving in my account. Will await reply...0 -
It's an unbelievable mess for which someone at a later date surely has to be held accountable.There seems to be no rhyme nor reason to how this whole sorry state of affairs has developed.......but for the moment,let's just keep the faith for all those still waiting.
Still convinced all will be ok in the end,but at what cost to anxious and innocent savers' health and sanity?
This scandalous chain of events really should not have been allowed to happen!!!0
