I have been with Easy DVD rental from our friend Stelios (airline fame).
The DVDs arrive quickly. Post it back on a Sunday and next one will arrive wednesday.
You have to have 7 in your library/selection at one time. The cost is 4 DVDs for £7.97. A helluva lot cheaper than £3.75 for one film that you have to drive back add the cost of petrol, if you live out of town!
When you sign up, you can decide if you want automatic debits per month. I chose not to. So that when my credits are used up, I can chose whether I want to top up or not.
I have only had one faulty DVD (all cracked in the middle). Emails response is quick and decisive. Recredit issued.
I recommend EasyDVD.0 -
I've tried all of the free trials going. Blockbuster comes out on top. Every time.
They also have a 60 day trial going - so thats even better! The DVD's come very quickly and are nearly always the top ones. If you 'pre-oder' a new release you are sure to get it delivered as soon as it's released. I would recommend BB every time. Additionally, I've done *3* trials with them. Just changing the delivery person to another member of the family, using a different card and add an extra space in my postcode. No prob's. Never been charged in 4 1/2 months total - from BB alone. Now that's a TARTING FREEBIE!
For the 60 day trial go to:
http://www.dvdtrials.co.uk/component/weblinks/Dvd_rental_companies/Blockbuster/
and in the 'Redeem Coupon' box, enter code "XZTP56".0 -
this code is not working for blockbusters. any other available. just fininshed off with sainsbury and so need another one.0

Not being funny but isn't that illegal? so its not really a freebie it's more like shoplifting maybe? getting something without paying.
People should be aware that if you do cheat them out of trials like that and they find out then they may well get quite angry and I would say rightly so.[FONT=georgia, bookman old style, palatino linotype, book antiqua, palatino, trebuchet ms, helvetica, garamond, sans-serif, arial, verdana, avante garde, century gothic, comic sans ms, times, times new roman, serif]A bank is a place that will lend you money if you can prove that you don't need it

Well i have just finished with blockbuster. The turnaround was appalling, we never got any new DVD's even though they were top of our list! A BIG thumbs down from me!!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0

Ive just spent 4 mths with Lovefilm,2 films at anytime unlimited £12.99. The first 2 mths was fine, though i only got one of my top 5, every now & again, but then it went over a wk without them sending any, even thought it stated on their site that i had return both DVDs, it was only when i complained they started sending again, but im lucky if they send out 1 a wk now. When i returned my last one & it was noted that it was returned I went to cancel, only to be told I have to cancel 5 days before my next payment, I always thought it was 2. So im now stuck with them for another 3 wks, & theyve still only sent me 1 DVD!0

Worth noting that quite often the service you get when you pay is quite different to the service you get when you are on a trial. On a trial I found Blockbuster to be excellent, when I actually paid for the service it was totally unacceptable. Took them five days to send out my first dvd ( I was on the three at a time package ) always got the titles at the bottom of my list and never managed to get more than 3 discs a week - in part because it would take them at least 48 hrs to process my returns then another 24 hours to 'process' a replacement. Twice I had discs that were unplayable due to cracks. I emailed them a total of five times to complain about the service and didn't get a response until after I had given up and cancelled! I wouldn't use them again.0

When you've been through lots of free trials you sometimes find you get emailed with quite attractive "come back to us" offers. A few months ago I was offered 3 months for the price of 1 at Lovefilm, meaning 3 months of unlimited rentals, 2 discs out on rental at a time, for £12.99.
I just phoned to cancel as my billing date was approaching, prompting them to repeat the offer! This is a great bargain as I got through about 17 DVDs in the first three month period without rushing to watch them, which works out at around 75p per film!0
