Hi all

just kicked ds off CBeebies so have finally managed to get to the Compers.

Reading back, you all some very healthy advice for stressed - I will just put my two penn-orth in for what it's worth.

Stressed - I suffered very badly with post traumatic stress & depression for many years (still have 'black cloud days' even now) - I ended up feeling very low & had to get some help otherwise I could have done something very silly.

I went to counselling which helped, to a degree - but the biggest thing I found when I was at my lowest was to walk.
It used to really blow the cobwebs away & the fresh air helps to clear your mind.

I just used to put the baby in the pram & set off. I never knew where I was heading but I walked anyway.

With regards to the money situation, CAB are brilliant at pointing you in the right direction.

Also, on a last note let me try & re-assure you - my sis-in-law is a Health Visitor & I know from conversations I have with her that there is always plenty going off behind the scenes,and your little one will definitely be having an eye kept on her.
They try & make it as inconspicuous as possible though because if there is an abusive person in the picture, they don't want to alert them to the fact that they are on to them.

Fate has a wonderful way of putting things right - we just have to trust & wait.

i feel quite young in amongst all u oldies, im only 29:rotfl: :rotfl:
