making the purchase is an 'offer' on our part. taking payment is the 'accpetance' on theirs. only once both are present is a legally binding contract enforceable
I realise that. I used to works for Currys and id love to get one over them. I know they will cave in if enough pressure is put on them.0 -

If he's not forthcoming then I have already drafted a letter to send to people like The Sun, The Mirror and BBC

EDIT
They do seem very slow in coming forward this morning0 -
Maybe Martin could mention it on his program on TV, companies that seem to be putting up items for sale and then letting people place the order & their credit card details before telling them an items out of stock etc.
But somehow I think he won't :money:0 -
His program isnt watchdog is it...
I saw a trailer the other day and it looks like he's jst helping people save money- which im guessin doesnt involve him saying "if u wanna save money wait for misprices, hope the company honours the ridiculous price and kick up a stink if they dont!!!"0 -
Nah his program isn't watchdog, but if it was can you imagine the stories on his program from the people on this site, he'd be on 24-7, but there are many happy ones as well.

YES YES YES :j
Called in to Game on Farfate in Sheffield today. Cashier said they were expecting 2 core and 2 premiums within 20 minutes. Anyway I waited and sure enough they arrived. How much are they? I asked, £769-99 he says with a bundle of games etc. So I bought one, paid for it and then asked him to refund me £480-00 for all the useless bundled games and accessories!!!! He said he couldn't do it but I quoted the T & C's and said if you're not certain ring head office. Anyway he went into the back to speak with his manager - came back and told me Head Office lines were all engaged but as a "gesture of goodwill" they would refund me the £480. So we have an xbox premium for Christmas. Only thing now are the games but the ones he wants have been delayed until January. Should still be able to play the ordinary xbox games though.
A BIG BIG Thank you to the guy that posted the link for Games T & C's on AVforum.

Have to say i agree with 'irate member' (although i dont agree with how they have worded the post).
I ordered an xbox for my bf by phone, and was told they had an xbox there for me, but now they dont because they have all been shipped out.
Hmmm, bet i wont get one in time for christmas now
Now now irate member, calm down
