Even although the 'Buy It' button has been there, it has also said 'temporarily out of stock' for days, so it was clear there was no point in buying? The Buy It button was likely for those who were happy to wait for more consoles to come in, whenever that would be perhaps?
However, It now says 'This title is not available', so they obviously are not expecting to get anymore in at the moment, I would think.

Forget Argos, MVC shop, Huddersfield in stock instore, and maybe a branch near you. Previous post lost in "off topic?" nightime chat about NOT buying one.

What line are people going to go down if they refuse to supply?
I was thinking national press, watchdog etc0 -
to be honeest - whilst i'll give it a go - their t's and c's do allow them to make pricing mistakes and then cancel order for whatever reason
but thats bad customer service - so i will probably e mail chief exec and press office at dsg, and threaten to go to press and tv0 -
Don't fancy your chances with any that....
From Dixons/Currys website:Acceptance of your order and the creation of a legally binding contract between us will only occur when we send you a third e-mail, which will contain details of how your products will be delivered to you. (Alternatively, we may decline all or part of your order for any reason, in which case our third email will tell you so.)0 -
true - legally they can do that
but if they deem the loss (say its only a handful of orders at 209) to outweight the bad pr - then they may just write it off and sack the i.t. guy that screwed up0 -

as will i mike - but in law we dont have a leg to stand on
making the purchase is an 'offer' on our part. taking payment is the 'accpetance' on theirs. only once both are present is a legally binding contract enforceable0
