My wedding is 30th July, when do you suggest I order? I'm going to start weightwatchers next week as i've put on a few pounds since starting my new job - I know i'm not going to drop to a size ten by July but I know I can easily lose a bit if I put my mind to it - so I want to leave it as late as possible so that I don't need to get it re-altered.

It depends where you go and what their lead time is. Don't be tempted to order smaller in hope you will have shed the weight. Maybe look again at the end of Jan and decide then. If you continue to lose weight you must accept you could very well have to have it altered when it arrives. Better to do this than have a dress which doesn't fit because you ordered smaller due to anticipated weight loss. HTH x

i ordered mine early as I couldn't stand waiting.

My weight loss has not gone great so far so i'm assuming i'm not going to lose huge amounts in the 6 months left - i'd rather order it or the size I am now and get it altered if i lose weight as that is preferable to;

order it late and it not turn up in time
order a small size and it not fit

As a real impulse I have decided to order Blue by Enzoani Alpine! I was going to do it right now but then realised we don't have a anything other than a metal tape measure in the house.

Becky1981 can you keep in touch so we can be order buddies? Have you asked Milly whether they can create the inner corset like you get on the Blue dresses?

No, I didnt ask about the inner corset as I wanted them to change it to a lace up back. I was going to ask but never did in the end. Im sure they probably would do it thou. I sent my measurements off today and they will be sending me photos of the test dress as soon as its done!
