Aw Rebekah what's going on? Is your dress in production or is this a lead time?
Can they not do it on a rush order?

Read the thread about dress worry. They have put back the dress over and over. I ordered beginning of June. Last week they said they can send it end of this week. Now they say not for 7-10 days. 7 - 10 days will miss my wedding. Origional date for the to send was middle of August. The it moved to 28th August. Now it just looks like I am not going to get it at all. I've asked for a refund.

Hi rebekah, just read the whole sorry saga in the other thread!
I'm so sorry, I suppose it's just as well you have a 'back up' dress. I know it's not quite the same and you could do without all the worry, I just wish I could wave a magic wand for you.
I didn't realise Landy and Milly were so 'close' to each other in that they 'sub contracted' out. I had heard on other threads that Milly was struggling to meet deadlines so I am surprised that they have accepted more work from Landy.
It's a bit of a worry.
I hope you do get a full refund, it's the least you can expect.
Once you've got your dress on and your ready to go, you'll feel gorgeous I'm sure and once you meet your Oh you won't even think about the dress.
The important thing is to enjoy your day. xxx

Does anyone think asking them about a Vera Wang gown might be pushing my luck? I am chief bridesmaid and trying to come up with as many wedding plans for my bride friend as possible. I think some of the gowns from Landy are amazing, so will hopeful get to use them, even if we just take the risk on my dress which will prob have to order anyway as Im very short! (not that we have a hope in hell of getting something vera wang any other way)
