EEEEEK! My dress is in the UK! Coventry, to be precise, and had now been handed over to Customs!!!

I'm so excited, I could spring a leak!!!

TBH I don't care if I get caught for customs - I just want my dress nowwww!

I bet the snow and stuff will delay it though - grrr!

that's good to know. Hopefully there will be a dressmaker in my area that will be as willing! Although it would be better to not have to need one!

I've only gone and done it! I ordered my dress yesterday from Landy and my 6 bridesmaids dresses from Milly. Just have to wait now for them to arrive. Will keep you posted!

Can any of you lovely ladies give me an idea of how long it takes with Landy Bridal once you place your order for the dress to be delivered.

I am thinking of getting married on 24 April so would this be enough time, I have an idea of the type of thing that I want.

I ordered mine from Landy on 30th December and it's just been released from customs in the UK today (there was a three week delay for the Chinese New Year) so yes, you have enough time. If I were you, I'd email them first just to check and to tell them that it's urgent - but I've read about people receiving their dresses in less than a month, so go for it!

Thank you, I have sent them an email to enquire and a picture of the dress I would like.

I've just received my dress from Landy and I'm absolutely over the moon with it!!!!!

It fits perfectly and still will once I shift a few more pre-wedding lbs off! And it's beautifully made - the corset is lightly boned, the modesty panel attaches with poppers, there's a stretchy strap across the back to help close the bodice, the seams are all even and the beadwork is stunning! I don't care that the beads are plastic and not crystals - they sparkle like billy-o!

I couldn't be more thrilled if it had been bought from a UK retailer costing ten times what I paid for it!

I admit I was a bit sceptical about Landy but having seen what their work is like, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!
