I've just received my dress from Landy and I'm absolutely over the moon with it!!!!!

It fits perfectly and still will once I shift a few more pre-wedding lbs off! And it's beautifully made - the corset is lightly boned, the modesty panel attaches with poppers, there's a stretchy strap across the back to help close the bodice, the seams are all even and the beadwork is stunning! I don't care that the beads are plastic and not crystals - they sparkle like billy-o!

I couldn't be more thrilled if it had been bought from a UK retailer costing ten times what I paid for it!

I admit I was a bit sceptical about Landy but having seen what their work is like, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

    YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which dress did you go for? Please put a pic up!!!! I love seeing real brides in their dresses, much better than seeing a model wear it!

I keep seeing more and more that i want! Can't wait to go and try them on so i know which one to order!

That's how I'll be in a year! We're April 24th next year and I know that this year will just fly by and it will be here before we know it. I'm so excited though! I bet you'll have great day and your dress is just beautiful!

    Thanks, hun!

Oh yes, the time will flash by!

We've been organising the wedding since December 2006 and I'm used to it being way ahead and now it's nearly here and I'm like a cat on hot bricks! :D
  • Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has had a Jenny Packham dress from Landy? I've tried 'the one' on and have fallen in love with it, but at £1680 it is MASSIVELY over our budget!

I'm emailing them with a pic, but as it's very straight and slinky I wondered if anyone else had ordered a similar dress?

The dress is 'Petra' and here's a link if anyone wants to see it!

    Thanks!

    Hels

ooh nice pics! I'm sure they would make one as similar as poss due to copyright. Let us know what they say. I cant wait for mine to arrive

I've heard back from Landy and they can do my dress (YAY!) - the cost is $250 for 'normal' material or $500 for silk, both inc P&P.

The original dress is silk....so methinks its gonna have to be the same! I really hope is going to be as lovely - I think I'll double check with Landy how different it'll be.

    Excited Hels
