Hello everyone, well firstly I'm Helen and I'm getting married in December this year! I came across this thread yesterday and I've seen the dress I want :-) Although this wasn't supposed to be the plan I was hoping to go to debenhams and pick up a ball gown type dress. But I've fallen in love with this one http://www.landybridal.com/Product/Pro3297.html

I know I'm going to be a nervous wreck ordering over the internet worrying if I get my sizes right and I'm quite short anyway so will it be to long! Can someone reassure me!
Also not even sure I would get it back in time?

that dress is gorgeous!
do not worry get your dress made to measure there is a section on the website that tells you all the measurements you need to take, get a friend/relative/OH to take your measurements and landy will make it to your size.
If you're worried about not getting it in time order it soon, although the recent turn around time has been as little as 4 weeks. If you order it now and don't like it then you still have time to get another dress.

Hi All,

I am so nervous about ordering my dress from Landy ( i am getting married this november) but the prices are just too good to ignore so am biting the bullet and ordering this week! I am just wondering has anybody ordered a demtrios dress and did it turn out ok? I tried on one very similar to the one i want to order and loved it. I just hope it turns out the same!!!

Any advice or help would be great!

Well - dress arrived this afternoon
And i have to say - i didnt have the "oh my god its the one" reaction
infact quite the opposite - not all that keen if i am honest
Not saying it isnt beautiful - and it really is perfectly made, from the length being absolutly spot on to the detail neatly sewn -
My time again - i would definatly buy from landy
Is this the dress of my dreams? Well no - but this wedding is reality after all.
