    Hello,
I am getting married May'10 and am having hard time choosing my dress so I was hoping someone can maybe help me.
With the help of this forum I know I am buying my dress from Landy but it's the style I am struggling with.
I am a curvy size 14 with boobs, big bum, wide hips and tummy (I'm working on it but I will never be slim). I went to a bridal shop to try on some styles but didn't make an appointment so they could only fit me into a 15 min slot as it was a Saturday. The lady was lovely and got me 2 dresses to try on (one was my choice). They looked lovely once on but were both made of heavy material and A line, similar to HS9461.
I like that one a lot but I have fallen in love with a much lighter and softer looking dress (HS1286) and while the heavier dress at the shop squeezed my tummy in and gave me a nice waist, I am not sure a lighter dress would do the same job?
Also, I am a D cup and do NOT wear strapless anything normally. I once wore a dress with no straps and had to pull it up all night. Does that fact that the wedding dresses are boned mean that they hold up better than normal boob tubes etc?
I don't really want to go bother another bridal shop for just trying dresses again as I am definitely not buying from them. Also, the dresses in shops always seem really heavy anyway.
Thanks for your help in advance
