    My daughter has just had a text from her friend who is on holiday in China and she's been watching a documentary featuring Landy!
    It was saying that Landy is a successful business woman and she's started a 'university' to improve the quality of her work!
    Her freind says the dresses look really good.
    Interesting!

    Just had a quote from Milly Bridal for the dress I posted earlier that Landy said they couldn't do;
    $500 in silk charmeuse (inc p&p)
    $300 in synthetic (inc p&p)
    What do you think?

    I think that is a really good price, :T and personally I would go for the more expensive option (moneysaving only goes so far) as it will look lovely in the silk and will 'flow' better. (Does that make sense?:o)

    I'd probably go for the more expensive option too. It's still a bargain at that price.

    Thats about £306 for the EXPENSIVE option if it's the dress she really wants I would say at that price it's worth the risk & she would have plenty of time.

    Get them to send you a swatch Sal. Or even give Harrington fabrics a call and ask if they can send you a sample (they're free) as a feeler. Here's a Vera Wang in charmeuse http://weddings.about.com/od/styleandattire/ig/Vera-Wang-2007-Wedding-Dresses/Vera-Wang-Silk-Wedding-Dress.htm if Landy can do it that cheap, you got a bargain and I'd go for it. xx

    Totally off topic (sorry) but that is one of the rare times I have thought a model looks awful in a dress. The dress itself is lovely and elegant...but the girls hipbones showing through..... :eek:
