Glad I asked now tbh! I thought that it was just hang it in steam like the others said! I'm worrying about taking it to the venue now what if it creases on the way? Do I take this huge steamer thing with me? lol.

TBH, if you buy from a shop they normally (well, we used to) press it before packing. Get it home, hang it. Minimal creasing.
Having a gown come from abroad, different thing. Iron as above and then transport. Shouldn't need re pressing. If the venue has a laundry service, they may be able to do this for you. Always worth asking.
I had a hand held steamer but when helping brides, maids, mums etc on the morning I always took my iron!!

    Hi all,
Just thought i would join in and post a message i ordered my dress from Landy on the 12th June and have just had an email from Ivan saying it has been posted. He also gave me a tracking number for DHL but their website isnt recognising it so i will just have to wait and see what happens. He said it should take 2-3 days to arrive this seams quick.
I am both nervous and excited about it arriving. My wedding isnt til november so i should have time to look for something else if it doesnt work out i hope it does though because i really love the dress xxx
